Joe Simpson is a husband, father, manager and now...paparazzo.
Radaronline.com reports that the former minister turned svengali has developed a very close relationship with the popular photo agency WireImage in exchange for special access to his daughters Jessica and Ashlee.
While celebs granting exclusives to certain photo agencies is nothing new, Simpson has taken it a step further by actually getting behind the lens himself.
Simpson has been accused of photographing his daughters on the red carpet, while simultaneously blocking the shots of other photogs. Joe is said to only approve photos he's taken, which are then distributed via Wire Image.
Obviously, this is ticking off other photographers who claim Joe has tried to bar other agencies from covering Jess and Ashlee's press events.
It seems ironic that Joe would limit media coverage of his daughters, since he is routinely criticized for pimping them out any chance he gets.
And considering the recent round of negative press surrounding the Simpson sisters, they could use any favorable picture they can get. And a publicist!
TMZ contacted a rep for WireImage who had no comment.

it really makes me sick on his attitude towards his daughters. all he see's is dollar signs. he hated the fact jess got married cuz he was afraid his cash cow would leave him so he cashed in on their marriage by making newlyweds, then i think it was him helping her along with the whole ur better then nick attitude u dont need him anymore. you will get more publicity if your single. one of these days yrs from now both girls are gonna get smart and leave his ass, we'll be hearing what kind of man he really is.. controling, money hungry, worthless father and husband
i saw her on jay leno the other night, he asked her about what kind of guy she finds hot, she flat out discribed Nick so im thinking what the hell, stupid ass. she was also acting like she was stoned. i can't believe her dad tells her to dumb herself down so people will like her better.. cuz i use to be a fan of hers from way back before she was ever popular when her and nick first started dating her daddy hadnt told her to make yourself a stupid blond yet. her new movie looks like a real bomb. she's not gonna get any worthy roles until she dumps the dumb blond act... by then it'll be to late cuz her and ashley's 5 mins is up... the public is getting real sick of her. It's been said how Nick would always treat her like she was stupid well ya, when the camera's were on she put on an act and nick knew that and wasn't a fan of her controlling daddy. im so glad he has moved on with his life and is happy with vanessa, she's so cute and doen't dumb herself down to get attention
