Tracy Morgan is among a growing number of Hollywood celebrities sporting the latest in convict chic -- an electronic ankle bracelet.

TMZ has obtained the first photo of Morgan's new SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) device -- an ankle bracelet worn to test for alcohol vapors that exit the skin. The device tests every 30 minutes for 90 days. If Morgan tests positive for alcohol use, he will have to start his 90 days over, and if he fails a second time he'll be forced to spend 30 days in a county jail.

As TMZ first reported, Paris Hilton was also wearing an electronic monitoring anklet (but not for alcohol -- just location tracking) while under house arrest ... until she was sent back to the slammer.

4. I understand when judges order that DUI offenders must get the device that let's one prove sobriety before starting a car, but this is ridiculous. It's an American right to get drunk, and to make someone stay sober all the time for 90 days is just inhumane. I don't like knowing I live in a country where this kind of punishment is acceptable -- they're infringing on his rights!

11. Nice double standard here. Morgan, being a man would get a better deal than Paris Hilton if he violates probabtion. Nice message that's sending!!

So let me get this straight. If Morgan violates his DUI probation by drinking, he will get a second chance to get and stay sober. If he violates probation for a second time by drinking, he would only get 30 days in jail. Yet, Paris Hilton violated her DUI probation by driving with a suspended license, and she has to serve a minimum of 23 days and a max of 45.

How much do you want to bet that if Morgan violates his probation, he'll be in and out of jail as fast as Michelle Rodriguez was after she violated her DUI probation with another DUI? Wow!! Celebrity Justice!! Yeah right!!

13. Hmmm. A new fashion statement for celebs. I wonder how much taxpayers have to pay for the celebs outbursts and addictions? I wonder if the celebs have to pay for any of this. I hope Paris Hilton is on suicide watch...that woman is not through with "attention seeking" from the media. It really concerns me how all of this is going down. It's a shame how her parents kept her so much in denial of consequences of real life.

14. It's funny how you guys have condoned his actions which in my opinion are even more severe that Paris's charged. The man assualtied a woman (sexuallly), is on probation, violated it, and it now free wearing an alcohol bracelet and won't be incarcerated unless he violates it 2 more times. I guess it's a witch hunt. You like him so no jail time, you don't like Paris and lets's send her to jail for the maximum. Talk about inequality. By the way he is male and black, she's white and femail.. umm

15. #10 Getting drunk is legal in your own home and as long as you don't infringe on someone else's rights. If you break a law and break probation, you have to be punished. That is the law of the land, Man's law. So drink away, on your own clock and not someone else's
