"Idol" Contestant Un-Wigged!

Prior to putting on his sexy Bret Michaels™ hairpiece, "American Idol" wannabe Robbie Carrico's hairtastrophes were limited to spiky highlights.

Back in 2001, Robbie, who is this season's Timberfake, was a boybander in something called B-Factor and rocked his very own gelled locks.

Hair -- like fame -- can be a fleeting thing.

Wow everyone at TMZ is so good looking with no flaws! I can't get over how good looking you all are! This kid wearing a wig is soooo interesting! It makes me like him for being fake! Fakeness makes this world a better place in my eyes. Thank you TMZ for opening my eyes :)

Serioulsy you need to check your info before posting things, I went to high school with Robbie at THS in Titusville Florida and he does not wear a wig. He just straightened his hair for that night and it looks bad....come on people, it MUST be a slow news day.

I don't think he's wearing a wig, but if he were... so what? Every other girl on that stage wears a wig or has extensions, what difference does it make if a guy does it? None. Yawn.
