UPDATE: 4:54 ET PM. We just called back our contact at Century 21, the agency that has listed the house. They claim Nadya is indeed an interested buyer. But here's the rub. We're told a big TV show has the house for the day and is there doing a sit-down interview with Nadya....
UNBELIEVABLE!!! We've confirmed OctoMom Nadya Suleman is looking to buy a home listed for $1.24 MILLION!
Octo is there right now ... the house is in Whittier, California. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a pool with no safety gates. Perfect for 14 kids.
A real estate source tells TMZ the owner canceled showings today specifically because Octo wanted to see it. She needs it because the house she's living in now may be on its way to the auction block -- as in foreclosure.
How is she getting the money? Put it this way -- this chick works the media better than Obama.

It's a very scenic area, close by a new lake, and the prices are more reasonable. She needs more room han this house has.
Everybody should just leave Nadya alone now. she'll probably have more money than all of us put together and live happily ever after. Perhaps she's smart to get what she wants by making use of all the resources available to her. After all, there're no limits imposed on the number of children you can have to get welfare. You can have 20 if you want. Look at polygamy cults, Mormons and all the other people with a brood of kids. To some it may be morally wrong but then again alot of rich people did things considered immoral to get where they are.
Does she understand the whole concept of PROPERTY TAXES? Even if someone was dumb enough to give her the money for the home, how in the name of god would she pay the Taxes on a yearly basis for such an expensive piece of property? I don't know how high property taxes are in CA, but in the East Coast they are extremely high.
Oh and TMZ shove it for the Obama line. You may have noticed he is still extremely popular! He didn't create this leech of a human being. She had six of the babies under Bush and got pregnant with the eight while Bush was president. Her actions have nothing to do with politics. If she didn't get federal money she would be milking charities. My mother works for one, and these people (although extremely rare) are out there. They will find every sucker willing to give them money and move on once they are cut off. And Obama was amazing at handling the media, Nadya Suleman is one of the most hated women in the country right now. So much for the comparison.
