T-Shirt Icon's Granddaughter Goes Shirtless

6/19/2009 2:23 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Che Guevara's hot granddaughter is starting a revolution of her very own ... for vegetarians.

Che Guevara

Lydia Guevara
is the sexy kin of ruthless Argentine terrorist revolutionary Che Guevara, and she's trading in that trendy communist t-shirt you wore in college for a bandolier of carrots for a certain animal rights group campaign.

No word if she's using her lovely weapons of mass destruction to conspire with Fidel Castro and overthrow a government.

Viva El Che! Hasta la victoria siempre!!! Crack out a history book and you will quickly find out that he was NOT a terrorist. He was a revolutionary who fought for his ideals.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that i see black people (around baltimore city, where i live) wearing Che Guevara t-shirts despite the fact that in he was a racist and thought black people as inferior. he said "the black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead"

i love how stupid and trendy people are.

He was a revolutionary who would incite the masses into revolting against the government by exploiting their disenfranchisement and then leave them to pick up the pieces for themselves. People trusted him and he spit in their faces. He was the douchebag and when he tried to pull similar stunts in Africa, they laughed in his face. The best thing he ever did was tell that man holding the machine gun to shoot him.

Talk about colonized mentality. Che Guevarra is a hero for many of us, and his revolutionary mentality and life have influenced so many people that disagree with what many would call real terrorists. Only people that would be too closed minded to mindlessly follow what they are fed by a government at shamelessly treats people around the world in such a heartless manner would be so quick to judge a hero that is Che Guevarra as a terrorist.

To #42- Che murdered many people because they didn't believe in his ideals. You can't force people to believe in the same things you do. His goon squad hunted hundreds of people down and killed them, yet you spout out Viva El Che like he was a hero. But as an American, you have that right. Hitler killed people because they were different than the so called master race. Stalin and Mussolini were also murderers of those that opposed their views. Do you feel the same way about them? So now we have guys like Bin Laden who are fighting and killing people because they don't believe in their caveman mentality. Do you like him too? Thank God we live in a country where we have the right to believe in anything we want. Viva America! I know this woman is associated by birth to this monster, and she may be proud of his murderous heritage by selling whatever it is she is selling, but I hope nobody buys anything from her.

"Che's life is an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom. We will always honor his memory."
--- Nelson Mandela

I can see that the large Cuban exile contingent is posting up above. They must have linked here from one of their incredulous right-wing blogs.

The U.S.-backed dictator Batista killed 20,000 Cubans, and thus Che saw to it that those goons got their rightful punishment = execution. End of story. He did the same as the U.S. at Nuremburg.

I wish the Miami Cuban exiles would focus on their own butchers and terrorists being harbored in Miami aka Luis Posada Carriles who blew up an airliner ala Al Qaeda.

"Che is not only an intellectual, he was the most complete human being of our time, our eras most perfect man."
--- Jean Paul Sartre

Ronald Reagan's right-wing contra death squads led to the deaths of 100,000 in Guatemala, 70,000 in El Salvador, and 30,000 in Nicaragua.

Che Guevara was 'created' through the United Fruit Co & CIA 1953 overthrow of the democratically elected Arbenz in Guatemala (while Che was living there). Any actions of Uncle Sam's induced Frankenstein's, ultimately lead back to U.S. foreign policy - and the brutal tyrants it supports, arms, and chooses to head it's allied financial oligarchies.

To the reactionary morons calling Che a "murderer" or "terrorist" please read a book ...

= Jon Lee Anderson, author of the 800 + page 'Che Guevara: A Revolutionary life', who spent 5 years researching the man:

"I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed an innocent. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder."
