Jon's girlfriend's dad probably recommended the lawyer.. Even that is scary.. supposedly the dad volunteered to do a tummy tuck on Kate.. and that was nice but sure brought him a pile of new patients, and that is how he met the doc's daughter.. His soulmate, nonetheless, so this being disengaged from Kate really started when he got the hots for a 17 yr old, it seems....just so gnarly...

Maybe Kate is an organization nut as many nurses are (( am one and raised 5 sons).. Organization is key to getting work done in a timely and professional manner and running a home.. but he is just one poor specimen of a father and a man..

She decided secretly to go behind his back and get him kicked off the show. That not a very nice thing to do - but I guess that is where her greed comes in. If she were interested in the money for her kids future, she would have call Jon and made a deal with him, to make sure that the show stayed on track and that the money for the KIDS kept coming in. ****************************************************************
Just her greed? She cornered the market on greed here? Yeah...I saw the video of all those people dragging Jon kicking and screaming to one of his new cars. Did anyone see the one where they held a knife to his throat and forced him to buy all those Big boy toys.
Make a deal with him? Why should she is? His antics will cause enough grief for his children to last a lifetime. Why the hell would she want to subject them to more? Furthermore she is/was making a secure future for the children. You know, someone has to be the strong one in this family...Hollywood eats people like them up alive.
