Balloon Boy's Mother -- It Was All a Hoax

10/23/2009 6:15 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The mother of the "Balloon Boy" has finally come clean, admitting the whole ridiculous fiasco was the hoax everybody knew it was anyway.

In a search warrant affidavit that was released today, Mayumi Heene told sheriff's deputies she and Richard "knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence."

In the document, it says "Mayumi described that she and Richard Heene devised this hoax approximately two weeks earlier ... she and Richard had instructed their three children to lie to authorities as well as the media regarding this hoax."

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden has said he will recommend charges against the family including conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, making a false report to authorities and attempting to influence a public servant.

Thanks

The wife may be abused but she sure held her own on Wife Swap. Her husband did not go with her and she was quite ugly and rude on her own, not timid, or ohmeohmyyessir. IMO

Sad sad

Oh, how come Richard the man (lol) didn't do this? Pimping out his wife again.

Richard was this a hoax? "Are you kidding? After all these emotions I've been going through?" Guess he was hoping for an Oscar. I won't forget that stupid comment.

It's an example of how media make the big sensation from nothing. How many posts about this family have we already read knowing that there was no flight? Well guys, your dream came true, cause you've really made good "show". The whole world keeps on talking about the accident that had never happened.

I think that it is ridiculous that TMZ leads the story indicating that the mother has "finally come clean." Yes, the Heenes are lunatics and indefensible. However, according to the affidavit, she "came clean" on October 17th -- six days earlier than TMZ reported it. It is disingenuous and poor reporting to say that she "finally" came clean. She "came clean" nearly a week ago.

Who me

I feel very sorry for her. She is an abused women who is afraid of her husband, and would do what he told her. There is enough evidence that shows Richard Heene has a vile abusive temper and has attacked her in the past. He has also been arrested in the past for assault. He is the one that belongs in jail, not her.

For those keeping score at home: Mayumi has confessed to the hoax and Richard has an attorney and is denying everything. Obviously these two have already parted ways. Mayumi is a beautiful, sexy and smart woman, I wish her the best.

Well, if Mayumi has confessed, she may be granted immunity in return for her testimony against Richard in court. I hope the court case is televised, they may get their reality show after all! And I agree that there is something really hot about Mayumi...
