Tiger Woods' Wife Picked a Wedgie

It's what we've been wondering for days -- and now, we finally have an answer to the golf club mystery.

A law enforcement official tells TMZ Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, used a wedge to blast out the two windows on his SUV.

There are several types of wedges. We don't know which one Elin chose ... but Tiger typically only carries a lob wedge and a sand wedge.

For all you non-golfers, a wedge is used for short shots -- usually around the green. It's angled with a high loft.

Golfers use wedges to get out of tight spots and unplayable lies. Oh the iron-y.

Looks like she didn't want to really hurt him, ONLY scare him.....as if she wanted him really hurt, she would have gutted the FRONT window, not the back......is that the BACK window smashed in the photo?....

Chicago Sun Times has a nice report that Tiger's wife is getting paid 7 figures to stay with him and the lawyers are revising the pre-nup to add in more incentives for her to stay with him!
