Casey Johnson's dogs are not only alive and well -- they've been medically cleared to enjoy life with their brand new, super-rich family.
Sources close to the Johnson family tell TMZ that after Nicky Hilton and Bijou Philips took little Elvis (left) and Zoe (right) back from Tila Tequila, the doggies were "taken to a veterinarian in Los Angeles for full checkups and were then released to the [Johnson] family."
Despite accusations from Tila that the dogs are going to be put down, we're told they are both "safe and sound" -- and the family is grateful to Nicky and Bijou for their help.

wow - the dogs they ran and got the girl they let to rot? Geez, rich or poor when you have mental/drug problems you cannot be left on your own.

How nice the dogs have been placed and are in good health. Now the status of the child this skank bought a couple of years back and had left in the care of her mother is still up in the air. Simply sick!

you people are stupid,,they are going to bury the dogs with the crazy girl because she loved them sooo much..calif law requires dogs be given a physical before euthenizing when one plans to bury them in the ground..these dogs are most likely already dead now..arf arf

As much as I dislike Tila, she did keep these dogs in good health so at least give her that much credit.
BTW, dogs do NOT need a physical to be euthanized, even if they are to be buried in the ground.

I know that they did put the older one down cause it was very sick it was 18 yrs old and didnt move always throwing up so that one is gone now the other is going back to ny

good! i hope this finally shuts up that skanky little dirtbag about the issue. the way she has behaved since this poor girl died is disgusting. casey's friends and family are suffering a horrible loss. tila tequila used poor casey when she was at her very lowest low. this evil little snatch needs to be gagged and kept away from the internet.

I really hope The Johnsons are telling the truth and BOTH dogs are being brought back to New York. It is senseless to kill any animal just because it is elderly. Everybody throws away anything which isn't a cute kitten or puppy. The shelters are filled with adult animals who are euthanized by the millions. How cruel and sad.
