He never made me laugh. He made Jay even worse. I think he is being forced out. He has a lot of haters, including me.

Good for you, Kevin! This is the time to do it. He probably no longer wants to be related to Jay anymore - I know I wouldn't. Kevin has other talents he can use.

I wish you the best, Kev! You deserve it!

Sorry to hear that Kevin is leaving. But, one can understand. He is such a great musician and rather talented. Why not tour and see the world and give what he has t offer in the way of music. I know Jay will be sad to see him go. Although, I think that Jay knew this long ago and Kevin was just hanging around to see where things are going.

Kevin, you're a nice fella, but you SUCK as a side kick. All you do is giggle and laugh and never add ANYTHING to the show, even Ed McMahon when he was with Carson managed to slip in some good humor once in a while.

Kevin and his band have talent far and above what the Tonight Show can let them show. The gig may be steady, but it's a career-ender to stick around. Move on and enjoy life. Tour, record, get on the LIFE boat and make some great music.

Tour and Record? WTF is he going to record, the entrance theme to the Tonight Show? Who's going to show up for his tours? Is he going to tour other late night shows and play their entrance music? Give me a break. No one wants to listen to him.

People who think Kevin's losing out are sadly mistaken.. he's been a staple of the show for a long time and has proven himself as a musician.. Im in the music business and one things for sure, i wouldnt wanna be Jay Leno's Muppet.. just saying...

Altho i'd reeeally love to see him show up on a show jamming with Conan and Max Weinberg..

Not surprised, been with Jay for a long time. If he has the money saved, go for it.... time to see what is out there.

Kevin is talented and a nice guy but I think that Max Weinberg's band and the Roots have elevated the 'house band' concept and Kevin's band won't cut it anymore.
