It's because you have a filthy abusive mouth, Howard. That is why you won't ever appear on this show. Well that and you have NO EXPERTISE in singing or music for that matter. You would destroy the brand they have worked hard to build. You don't fit their image.

Who really gives a **** about Howard Sterns opinion? Besides he looks 80 years old! Does American Idol really need an octogenarian to jump-start their lagging ratings? I think not. In fact, I give that show 2 more years tops and it's history. With or without Cowell.

Hey #2.. Howard has more expertise in music and singing than ellen. American Idol is an over done karaoke contest plain and simple. Sure there are people with talent out there but having to jump through the hoops of fire and put up with simons abuse it is about ratings and the people on there are just sheep

As if Ellen has any expertise, don't be a hypocrite. And he'd be a way better judge than Kara, Randy or Ellen could ever hope to be. And for the record, Stern use to be a music director for years and produced a top selling album. He's certainly qualified.

And what expertise does Ellen Degeneres have in singing and the music business? Why is she even of the show? Sorry, but American Idol has really jumped the shark this year. Simon is smart for leaving. And Howard is right...he IS too good for American Idol. Although, it would be fun to see him on the show ridiculing Ryan Semencrest.
