USC Football 'Vacates' Nat'l Championship Win

6/10/2010 4:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The NCAA just blew up USC football's world by forcing the Trojans to vacate their victory in the '05 Orange Bowl ... a win that earned them the National Championship.

USC Football trojans reggie bush

This all comes after an NCAA investigation concluded Reggie Bush got improper benefits while at USC.

According to the NCAA findings Bush received a car, and his family received a house and other financial benefits.

In addition to the National Championship game, USC must also vacate its 12 victories from the '05 season -- Reggie's last before turning pro -- and the university is banned from bowl games for the next 2 seasons, and on probation for 4 years.

Fight on.

NOTE: The NCAA specifically uses the word "vacate" instead of forfeit because the Trojan's opponents in those games don't get the win.

So what is new at USC...This has been going on for years and it's been no big secret when they don't attend classes, drive big cars, park wherever they please and don't get tickets, have plenty of spending money..

Matt, you're an idiot... USC beat Oklahoma at the 2005 championship... Remember, the BCS championship game is the year after the season starts...

So, they're talking about the 2004 USC Trojans that won the 2005 championship....

NCAA didn't vacate their Championship. The BCS makes that decision and they haven't done so yet, although they probably will... I love TMZ, but I don't think a single person that works for them follows sports.

Texas beat them in 05 with Vince Young. Not sure what the hell the NCAA is talking about.

Now now USC it takes two to tango! Blame your skeezy school! You still have O.J. Mayo to worship! It's the schools fault for letting rich kids in just to pay Bush for his services! He isn't returning any of his Superbowl dough, and you can't pay fees for fame!

Maybe this is why the PAC-10 is so hungry for Texas??? They're gonna need a new marquee name to take USC's place--who better than the Longhorns?!

USC has always cheated by "paying" its athletes, that's what they're known for. And if you have enough money you can buy your degree there. Not saying you can't get a great education at USC, but it's a fact. And Reggie Bush should also be paying hefty fines, he knew what he was doing and signed contracts regarding "gifts."

Well, up here we got both of their coaches: Pete Carroll is going to try to turn around the HAPLESS Seahawks (at least he doesn't have to deal with players getting paid by who-knows-who), and Steve Sarkisian at UW. All I can say is: Go Dawgs! You know they gonna be on top of the pile in the Pac-16 (yep, Pac 16 any hour now)!

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!
