After taking a minute to regain his composure, Weiland -- like the frickin' rock star that he is -- picked up right in the middle of the song and belted out the rest of the show.

Glad he wasn't hurt! LOL . . .looked like he took a long walk off a short pier. Rock on!!!
Everyone already beat me to it, but yeah the song kept going even when he was flat on his ass. I did not hear a difference between before the fall, during the fall, and after the fall with the vocals. What kind of BS is that??? Why not just watch a dvd or listen to the CD. You go to a show to hear them sing not watch them act the song out.
Look at Dave Matthews Band 100% live shows nothing going on in the back ground what you see and hear is what you get
All the more reason to buy an album. With this guy flipping out seizin up on an airplane and frankly falling out and off of stage all the more reason to listen to lyrics, the music was enough to be entertained before that. What so for a moment fans there felt like they had a moment to seem like they made a difference and that's nice of them. I have always liked his unique creativity. At most there was a place to fall of on.
So what, either way mouthing lyrics or singing them they are still lyrics and the music is still going on. Concerts are a place to have fun with your friends, companions, other, or alone. The artists are there and you pretty much paid them to entertain you when you bought a ticket. As long as no one got hurt and none of it got on you who cares if he lip syncing. There might be psychological attachments to artists, or their music but reality suggests it's the song that has value and can enhance an experience not who is singing it or how it's sung, it's how your senses take it in. Sure he looks good, and all and is generous enough to publish his time, but most people are not paying attention to any of that either.
His show is so very obviously pre recorded...prob because the other members of STP are afraid Scott will be too high and/or drunk to actually sing, sorta like the latest failed Van Halen tour where Eddie was always too wasted to play.

I am close to the situation. Some of your comments
are WAY off. I suppose the notes that Scott sings
a little flat (rarely), they are 'canned' also. This
is the real thing, folks. This is probably the best
Rock group on the planet at this time. The few "f-ups"
that occur during their live performances are not unlike
scars in fine leather. Nothing fake about Scott's
vocals or Dean's ripping guitar, trust me.
Most of you guys saying he was faking the vocals weren't even at the show to see anything and all of the details. All of you guys are just looking for **** to hate on, you have no faith in anyone. Maybe he was embarrassed and his adrenaline was up and he kept going, do all of you weak asses cry and give up when you fall? He's a rock star and kept going no matter what the situation was, hence "The show must go on". STP will still have me as a fan and I will definitely be going to next years show.
I was at this show... anyone who saw the show live would know without a doubt that this was not a case of lip syncing! He always the mega phone in this song and clearly was not in the time he was on the ground! I saw him there singing his ass off while he was laying there... He wouldn't let the bouncers get him up until the solo because he was not LIP SYNCING!
i will miss the old and true stp. i paid to see them live in houston scott was bad and its sad the others in the band have to suffer.
