Matt Leinart -- The Worst Prediction Ever

Back in June, Matt Leinart told TMZ he was absolutely positive he would be the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals this year -- it didn't seem so crazy back then, did it?



Of course, the Cardinals cut his ass this weekend ... and now dude will be a backup for the Houston Texans.

Joe Namath, he is not.

He graduated from USC. If you don't know what USC stands for it's means "University of Spoiled Children" He ran his mouth like a fool and the Cardinals had every right to let him go. Hopefully he learned his lesson...

He was overrated in college & couldn't hack it in the pros. His throwing style only worked in college because he had players like Bush who were able to make him look good and he played against mediocre teams. The NFL are more evenly matched teams so you actually need good mechanics and talent to do well. Leinart has bad mechanics and no talent that translates to NFL. Leinart should go play for cut and run Carroll in Seattle. They deserve each other.

Hope he has saved his money because he isn't going to have a long lucrative career in professional sports.

The story is even better - he'll be the back-up to the *back-up*. Just another loser USC wash-out in the NFL. USC is full of morons - let's face it, their last NFL standout was OJ and we all know how that turned out . . .

As a DIE-HARD Cards fan, I was so happy to see him go!! I've NEVER liked him, he has always been a slacker more interested in girls and being famous then being a REAL football player! I'd much rather route for the unpredicatble Anderson and our hometown rookie Max Hall!

I'm also a die-hard Arizona Cardinals fan. Matt Leinart did not deserve to win the Heisman Trophy, or play for the Cardinals. The Coach, Ken Whisenhunt made the right call by havin him cut. Go Derek Anderson!!! the new Quarterback. He will be just as great as Kurt Warner. Goodbye Leinart!
