Paris Hilton

Detained in Japan

Over Cocaine Case

9/21/2010 12:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has learned Paris Hilton is a captive in a Japanese hotel tonight and can't enter the country ...  after being detained at the airport for hours over her guilty plea for cocaine possession.

A source close to Paris tells us she flew to Japan on business and was questioned by immigration authorities as she got off the plane.  Immigration authorities are allowing Paris to stay at an airport hotel until the matter is resolved.  For her part, Paris hasn't decided whether to stay or leave.

Paris' rep tells TMZ, "Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier.  Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans."

An employee at the Consulate-General of Japan in NYC tells TMZ ... Japan is strict about letting people into the country with recent drug convictions but these matters are handled "on a case by case basis."

Paris' rep added ... she will fulfill her contract but right now things are beyond her control.

We're told there was a conflict within the ranks of those who questioned Paris -- some of whom felt it was for show.

Prisons in the U S are neva too full for a black person or poor person or minority. Even though it cost 27,000 to keep a prisoner locked up, plus they get medical all that and education and a risk of riots and risk of being hurt or killed every second. A felony is something that if you get 3 you can get Life in prison really are such a stiff sentence that it may as well be Life. Prisons and jails are overcrowded so that is why there is 3 to a bunk in some cases more or tint cities are built like in Arizona--Joe Arpiro--builds tent cities and makes the inmates wear PINK... To learn more vist Famm on the internet which is FAMLIES AGAINST MANDATORY MINIMUMS or visit these groups in yahoo groups... any group that is HUMAN RIGHTS or Prison or Jail that are fighting for rights. Visit BOP Watch which is also a yahoo group. November.org which is on the net visit the DrugWar.org on the net and the USSC.GOV on the net Paris she got SPECIAL TREATMENT.. go read on Nov.org how a man just got 30 years for a little bit of crack. There are some new laws just passed but guess what hey not even Retroactive. Fedcure which is in yahoo groups is one of the best places to join and just read and look at the archives too. You will learn that the U.S locks up more of it's own than ANY--NATION. This is still the best place to live in the world, but people like Paris get special treatment while the ordinary person gets up to life for cocaine, a non violent person at that. I could write a book on it.

Paris is spending a lot of time these days in police interrogations. For her, 12 months is a long time to stay out of trouble.

This is another fine example of the trash that we have living here in the USA. She is not a role model for anyone other then a JUNKIE. Her and Lindsey will be sharing a room before too long. IN THE DIRT! They will be dead before 30 years of age...so sad. What a waste! I guess Mom and Dad are REAL proud of her now!

Really? Possessing cocaine is beyond her control? Two words: Actions; consequences.

She really doesn't get it, does she?

Idiots. She was "detained for questioning". Thats all. They will aske her some questions, check her luggage to make sure she isnt smuggling drugs into the country, then they'll let her go on her way. (After the corrupt Japanese police extract a few bucks from her)

You people take such pleasure watching a young, hot, rich girl get into trouble because you arent any of those things and never will be.

The real criminals here are the Vegas police. The stalked a famous US citizen in order to make a high profile bust. They threw that coke down, too. Its what the pigs do.

She is better off admitting it was hers and paying the fine than trying to fight the Vegas pigs in court.

If this DID happen at the Wynn, where's the video?? EVERYTHING in Vegas is on tape. I guarantee the vegas police made a deal with Steve Wynn to make that portion of the tape "disappear" so the public couldnt see the Vegas cops throw that coke on the ground.

What I fail to understand is WHY anyone is her "fan". What does she do that makes one her fan. She's not really an entertainer of any kind because she has no discernible talent. Someone enlighten me, please.

Another great story by TMZ which illustrates the hypocrisy of securing our borders from the drug cartel but our courts give a slap on the wrist to those charged with felony cocaine. So can we infer Paris supports the cartel's efforts.

I applaud other countries that take a hard-line on drugs and, unlike the US, still force passengers in private jets to go through immigration screening. Wealth doesn't always equate to a different justice system.

Paris might be well advised to stick closer to home. Many countries, like Japan, walk the talk and are sending a message. Under Japanese law, immigration authorities are empowered to deny entry to those who have been convicted of drug-related offenses.

155: I dont even care about Paris Hilton. The only thing that would make me a "fan" is that she pisses of the great unwashed jealous judgmental masses in this country.

She goes to VEGAS, VEGAS!! And decides to smoke a joint in a car that she isnt driving and the filthy pigs stalk her and pull her over in order to make the news. Period. Ive been to Vegas 500 times and I GUARANTEE you that a cop cant smell pot coming out of a car on the Vegas strip unless they are stalking that person.

Then, what person asks the cop to follow them to the Wynn KNOWING she has a gram of coke in the car and LEAVES IT IN HER PURSE until they get there so it magically falls out in front of the cops as she pulls out her "lip gloss".

What BS. Vegas cops carry little bags of coke around in their pockets just so they can frame people like this.

A weed bust? Thats a ticket in Vegas. They had to drop that coke on the floor in order to make it stick.

You dont think this is true? It happens ALL the time. And it will happen to you if you ever get into it with the Vegas cops, too.

Paris Hilton isnt the only citizen the Vegas cops have set up with fake drug bust. She's just the most recent, famous one.

And all these small minded teahadists think the PARIS HILTON is the criminal and not the corrupt Vegas Police Force.

Idiots.
