They're like little rub-off butterfly tatooes. Not real, obviously. Britney Spears is what people would refer to as a Southern Belle. She doesn't care about fashion, unless it's for promotional purposes. She comes from a different culture, where you just want to wear something comfortable and don't really care what you look like. It's on the coasts that people are more superficial and materialistic about these sorts of things. Same deal with Miley Cyrus. Jeans and shorts and speghetti strap tops. Extremely casual wear. As to comment #9, Britney actually doesn't have a lot of money anymore and so she can't really afford high-end fashion anyway. She has more money then you or me, probably; but she can't exactly afford to go on some 10,000 or 100,000 Beverely Hills shopping spree. She has an allowance and high-end fashion is extremely expensive.
