He's a jerk, pure and simple. If I had all that money, I'd make damned sure it was ALL accounted for and my taxes paid.

wtf THIS has to do with HB i dont know
another thing i don't understand is that Paris Hilton get caught with cocaine - nothing, Lindsay Lohan puts people in danger - practically nothing. Government gets screwed over and hell breaks loose. Another typical situation that proves that government doesn't give a **** about nobody but themselves ... ****ing ridiculous ....

Snipes committed NO CRIME by failing to pay taxes, taxes are unconstitutional as the IRS does it today, it should NOT be a prison crime.. or if so, the BANKERS should mostly be in jail also. amazing to hear people diss snipes, when he is simply a patsy, taking a fall for people to enjoy, while the government lets ALL THE BIG CRIMINALS GET OFF SCOTT FREE: BP kills people - nobody from BP goes to prison. snipes is a movie actor, kills nobody, goes to jail? sad to hear so many people act like snipes did something criminal - not so, nothing criminal about refusing to pay taxes.. criminal is the govt putting people in jail for YEARS because they don't pay the mafia-taxes.

And that's EXACTLY why 'you' end up in jail. 'You' deserve it, as does Snipes.

Pablo's comment from 12/9/10 @ 9:59 was dead on. What a bunch of coward ass comments you bastards wrote. None of you gave a damn about Wesley & Halle when any of that was going on between them. If he attacked her, he was wrong. Simple as that. I sure there differences have been settled long before most of you idiots even knew they were actually a couple. Damn prima donna's you people are. Alway's Monday morning quarterbacking after the fact. Wesley will be home 7/19/13 and he'll still be 10000 richer than all of you low lifes who cut his throat. Now I understand what happened to Jesus. He was crucified on the same principles that you people exhibit. And you wonder why horrific things happen.

I can understand if someone owed all of this money and didn't have the funds to cover it, then impose the sentence and a person serves; plain and simple. The same goes for any other local, state and government. For example... If you get a speeding ticket and you ditch out and don't have the money to pay, then you serve "days for dollars" to cover the fine and fees. Same goes for parking tickets, moving violations and mistemenors involving the law etc and so on and so forth; if you pay the money (even at the last minute) Then debt settled!! and NO JAIL TIME is given.. Cased closed and lets find the murderers and rapists out there. They are clearly making an example out of him (call it jealousy, status envy, a personal non-interest as an actor/artist-as everyone has their favorites)whatever you want to call it; and backing this up, the juror said he "Wesley" was guilty just by the first time they saw him??? That was before the trial started!?!? Let him pay what he owes and close the case. The state will have all the money and we can focus on serious offenders! Instead they want to slam him in PRISON, collect his money.. and then it costs over $38,000 dollars to house ONE person per year in a regular prison, I am sure it is far much more in a federal prison. So, that just tells me that they don't care about the money in the first place, it is a mere "example setting" and I believe a "Not Fair" judgement given to Wesley Snipes! I'll pray for you Wes, hang in there!! Because when you are finally realeased, you will be BIGGER THAN EVER!! Your comeback will be HUGE no doubt in my mind. We love you Wes!

All Laws that effect all people of America have to be ratified by a majority vote by Congress. Was it really ratified on December 23, 1913? The jury is still out. So instead of enabling the robber…GIVE EM HELL!

Dear Mr. Snipes, I have a manuscript that I would like to send to you. I was hoping it would be of interest to you and you may consider making it a movie. It is an inner city tale of Austin, TX. Written by a new Author, J.R. Wolrdige. He grew up on the streets of 5th Ward, Houston, TX. Spent almost 1/2 his life in prison, where he learned to read at the age of 30. He told a blind musician he wanted to be a writer and he responded how do you know if you haven't tried. The title of the book is 'In The Eyes of Those Within'. I would love to send it to you just to get your opinion on it. Thank you for your time. Denise Brenek
