'Major League' Exec to Sheen: Don't ACT Like Lohan!

2/25/2011 9:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

If Charlie Sheen doesn't "straighten up," he will NOT star in the upcoming "Major League" movie ... because the man in charge of the flick tells us he doesn't want another Lindsay Lohan situation.

Charlie Sheen Lindsay Lohan

TMZ spoke with James G. Robinson -- CEO of Morgan Creek Productions -- who tells us, "I'm not going to risk putting Charlie in the movie if he continues messing up."

Robinson continues, "Obviously with Major League 3 there's a huge part written for Charlie's character ... but after dealing with Lindsay Lohan on 'Georgia Rule,' I can speak for someone who has experienced the difficulties of working with an actor dealing with addiction."

"I won't go through that again. If Charlie doesn't straighten up ... I unfortunately can't put him in the movie."

Robinson explains, "When Lindsay was doing 'Georgia Rule,' she would miss full days of work.  When an actor doesn't show up for work, you can lose half-a-million dollars a day paying the 250 other people there for the shoot and the costs for the set."

"Two and a Half Men" was officially shut down for the rest of the season after TMZ reported that Charlie wanted to challenge the show's creator Chuck Lorre to a cage fight.

Yeah, but Charlie does show up for work. It's when he's not at work that the problems start.

No, Charlie doesn't reliably show up to work. His antics have shut down production of the t.v. show twice now. He now as a track record of being unprofessional and unreliable.

Good call by this company and CBS! Hopefully he realizes that he is the loser now and the world doesn't revolve around him. His behavior was unacceptable for too long already.

I suppose you're right, Carvey.

Of course at this point, he doesn't even need to be on drugs to be a liability. All he has to do is open his mouth.

You must be so proud of yourselves. Bunch of douches. First you make Kim Kardashian a celebrity, make Britney news that would ruin her career go away, and now you pretty much fired crew of two and a half men.
What's next?
Who's career are you going to ruin next? Possible targets. A.F, J.T, H.J(Object of recent blind item on blind gossip), E.M, C.A, J.A, G.P?
I would have used full names, but then I would probably get fired and sued.

Charlie jumped the shark a long time ago, but this should put the last nail in his career coffin. Since once of his heroes is "nails" Dykstra, maybe he is following the same "investment approach" to assure the absolute destruction of his assets. Seriously, who quotes Lenny Dykstra in a positive way in this century? He ripped off his own mother.

Spend the last of your Thomas Jeffersons, Charlie boy. You can't take it with you anyway...

@dimes

No kidding about his mouth, eh? The guy allegedly stops drugs and suddenly goes completely bonkers. What's that about? Some sort of weird detox effect or were the drugs just masking his obvious mental illness?

I am certain Lindsay Lohan's movie career is completely over. Who is going to insure her? Nobody. Past that, the bad stuff is growing and swirling around her ...for years now. She's done in the industry.

I believe Charlie is in terrible trouble and it's growing daily. He's surrounding himself with the worst of people not the least of which is his drug fueled ex, Brooke. She's fighting her own intense addictions and they shouldn't be together at all. Then there are the porn stars that will just go along with whatever he says and does to get paid.

Honestly, I believe Charlie will die soon of this continues. His addiction spoke today - and is the driving force behind all these reckless comments.

We worked with Lindsay on Georgia Rule and remember her "friend" Patrick Aufdenkamp showed up on-set several times. Does anyone know if he is the male friend of Lindsay that supposedly distracts the clerk while Lindsay takes the necklace. We have never seen so many crew members take such an instant dislike to a visitor as they did to Patrick. It was weird.

@ Production Assistant
yes thats the guy who helped Lindsay steal the necklace. The same guy Lindsay accused in an interview few months before that he stole large amount of jewlery from her and they´re no longer friends. Strange no?
