ABC:

We're Calling the Cops

on Chris Brown

3/22/2011 2:03 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

ABC staffers called the cops after Chris Brown's tirade this AM to document the broken window in the building, and this could spell big trouble for the famous singer who is currently on probation.

0322-cops-are-coming-audio-launch-3
TMZ obtained audio near the dressing room where Chris allegedly took a chair and smashed a window, sending shards of glass onto 43rd Street.  During the conversation between the staffer and a glass repairman, the staffer says "I have a police officer coming just to take a look at it before we do any work."

Despite the conversation, NYPD sources tell us ... none of their officers were dispatched to the scene.

If Chris did indeed smash the window, it probably constitutes at least 2 crimes -- vandalism and assault on the passersby below.   As a result, the judge in the Rihanna battery case could revoke Chris' probation and, worst case scenario, he could end up in prison.

#18 @Brad ("ABC does not need to press charges. Brown, on the other-hand needs to recognize his temper issues and that adults don't smash windows. He still has a lot of growing up to do.") Yes, actually they do...ABC is liable for any injuries and/or damage done as a result of his actions. There were people below on the street under falling shards of glass...and you don't think they should file charges against him?! If it were nothing but a screaming hissy-fit, I'd say don't worry about it...but it was much more than that. He got so mad he scared people enough that they called security. He picked up a chair and threw it at a window causing the window to send shards of glass to the street below. Those actions warrant charges. If I were ABC I'd be suing his ass too for the damages (as I'm sure they will.)

The NYPD statement means they didn't care enough to come out, not that they weren't called. Cops are very selective about what they will respond to. My father is a contractor and was building a house. One night a bunch of expensive building materials were stolen from the house and the cops refused to come out and just told him he could come down to the station to fill out a report if he wants. Our tax dollars at work!

If he really smashed that window then "Blondie" should be thrown in jail.

I've hated this guy from day 1 when he pummeled Rhianna's face. I'm not even a Rhianna fan, but when I saw what he did to her face I knew he had a terrible violent streak and it wasn't a one time thing. I bet that wasn't the first time he beat a woman, and it won't be the last. I hope his azz goes straight to jail for violating his parole. Obviously the little slap on the wrist and anger classes did not teach this guy a lesson.

Don't snitch.
We're at the point now where the Police aren't willing to do their job. For years 50 cent told the youth of our country not to tell the police aything when asked about crimes. "We didn't see it" "He's my good friend" "I'm on his side". These are the answers given when crimes are investigated. Don't snitch.

What it really means is lie. Lie to who? Who is being decieved? It's more specific than you think. Only certain people don't get snitched on, only certain crims get covered up.

Chris Brown was shown the exit out of ABC studios by ABC security. ABC security is responsible for detaining subjects that commit crimes on ABC property in order to protect ABC from legal action. Instead Chris Browns crime is erased, the crime scene is cleaned and all interested parties are lied to. You can be certain those that needed to be contained were done so as if this never happened.

A collective cover-up was under way to protect Chris Brown before justice had a chance to react. Why? Why protect Chris Brown from prosecution when he breaks the law?

ABC will NOT be filing charges against Chris Brown because ABC SECURITY were actively involved in covering up his crime.

ABC SECURITY were committing a crime when they provided safe passage for Chris Brown from their premises after he committed felony destruction of their property.

ABC SECURITY, while cleaning up the damage that Chris Brown did to their studio were removing the evidence that would have been used against Chris Brown. ABC management directed ABC security to contact NYPD, instead ABC security covered-up the crime.

Nothing will come of this matter, at the most someone will be fired.

All the fools out there supporting that violent thug, Chris Brown, saying how the show was provoking him by asking questions about the incident, need a reality check. NOBODY can provoke another person into becoming violent; either a person has control or they have violent tendencies...how long did it take Brown to lose it? Minutes, even seconds after the interview..that guy is a ticking timebomb--ARREST HIM NOW!
