Warner Bros. To Charlie Sheen: Stop Lying About 'Men'

4/14/2011 3:53 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Warner Bros. has just fired off a letter to Charlie Sheen's lawyer, saying Charlie is lying that he's "in discussions" over returning to "Two and a Half Men" -- this according to a letter obtained by TMZ.

0414_sheen_wb_doc_ex_4

In the letter, the Warner Bros. lawyer says, "Those statements are false.  As you know, there have been no discussions, there are no discussions and there will be no discussions, regarding his returning to or having any involvement with the series."

Charlie said on radio this week ... discussions had been taking place and there was an 85% chance he'd return to the series.

0414_charlie_small_audio2Contrary to what Charlie has been saying, TMZ has been reporting there is no chance of Charlie returning.

The WB letter makes it clear ... the door on Charlie has been slammed shut.

I'm kinda surprised you haven't read it. I believe TMZ was the first one to post it.
Here is the original.

There have been some improvements to the "Comments" section of TMZ's website including the ability to post an Avatar for each poster, to "Report" other's posts and to quickly find an archive on our own recent posts.

There could be some other improvements as well. Like:

1. The ability to edit a previous post for at least a few minutes to correct obvious mistakes.
2. The ability to choose the reason you are "Reporting" someone's post like is it for "Hate Speech" or "Inaccurate facts" or whatever.
3. TMZ could tell us what they want us to "Report". If all posters "reported" every post they found offensive, TMZ would be swamped, wouldn't they?
4. The previous system numbered the posts. I found it easier to find my and other people's post I was interested in re-reading or replying to when I could search for those posts by their assigned numbers. Maybe they could bring back that feature.
5. TMZ could let us know if they intentionally allow SPAM posts on the TMZ website or if they just don't have or just don't use the filtering software to bar them or remove them from the posts in the "Comments" section. I and some other people find all the SPAM posts for shoes and electronics etc. offensive. Maybe, most people do?

Might be interesting for TMZ to request suggestions on improving the Comments Section of their website from the posters themselves.

Charlie Sheen's other internet intern: Tell them you don't need to prove anything here.
ksis: sounds good...

The link you posted, Ksis is from the 100 million dollar lawsuit. It is not the contractual agreement itself. Just stating...you know...the obvious.

It still stands. For us it is He said/she said. The actual agreement between him and Warner Bros/Chuck Lorre is not released. Anyone can file a lawsuit and be completely not factual and has to be argued in court or arbitration.

Just saying.

I was asked for a link to a lawsuit. You know...the obvious.
And everything that Charlie objects to regarding the breach of contract is written there. Nothing else is needed.
BTW...Did WB released the contract as part of their termination letter? Nuff said;)

Also...to make it official...I'm sure some very ingenious person with a scanner can leak Charlie Sheen's *actual contract* from Warner Brothers to prove once and for all that the lawsuit he has is indeed legitimate in his legal intentions.

I know...I know...that might hurt the lawsuit. But it would prove public opinion stance if that is what Sheen Team is going for.

Once upon a time Lenny Bruce used to stand up from the stage of The Purple Onion in San Francisco and read from his transcripts in his defense. Well..that is not probably not the best of examples as he passed away not too long after from a drug overdose.

"BTW...Did WB released the contract as part of their termination letter? Nuff said;)"

The termination letter quotes, verbatim, many portions of the contract - especially those which pertain to some of Charlie's allegations in the lawsuit. I find it particularly telling that the filing (the lawsuit) does not do the same in order to emphasize the magnitude of WB's supposedly egregious conduct.

It is a matter of course for filings of any kind to heavily quote the legal do cu ments supporting their allegations in order to get the court to actually hear the case. What I've read of the lawsuit so far is just legal posturing without basis in fact, with the possible exception of the legal statutes cited. I haven't yet had time to check California statues to see just what they're alleging with those.

LOL. Oh, ok. Why am I not surprised, Nancy? ;)
The lawsuit is written in a way it should be, by the lawyer who has handled successfully cases of that kind for number of celebrities. Sorry, but I kinda trust his judgement here.
