Charlie Sheen

Borrows $10 Mil

from Warner Bros.

5/17/2011 5:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen -- who scored the biggest paycheck in TV before getting the boot -- had to borrow a huge amount of money from Warner Bros. during his last season on "Two and a Half Men."

TMZ has obtained Charlie's contract for Season 7 (2010 - 2011).  The document -- dated May 17, 2010 -- requires Warner Bros. to pay Charlie $10 million within 10 days of the date Charlie signed.  Charlie was then obligated to pay the money back during the first 13 episodes.

To repay the loan, Sheen -- who was getting a base pay of $1.25 million a show -- had $769,230.77 deducted from each paycheck for the first 13 episodes.   But then there's this pesky issue of interest.  Under the deal, the interest -- calculated at the prime commercial rate -- would be deducted from the 14th paycheck.

Charlie was fired after the 16th episode, so Warner Bros. got its $$$ back.

As for why Charlie needed the money ... unclear.  With his profit participation, Charlie was raking in more than $2 million an episode, but it seems he was still burning a hole in his pocket.

On the bright side for Charlie, he was doing really well.  We got a copy of his original contract, and in Season 1, he made $160,000 an episode, and under the original deal he only got a 4% raise for additional seasons.  That contract was renegotiated after the show became successful.

So lots more was going on for quite awhile with Charlie. So he was out of money and needed cash to get through. Gee, where do ya think all his money went? Up his nose? Or prostitutes and whores? I'm sure there will be a whole lot once they ever get to court but Sheen has pretty much cooked his own goose.

Hookers and blow will probably turn out to be a relativly small part of the pauperization of Charlie Sheen. I can almost guarantee that it was Charlie's "entourage" of financial advisors and yes-men assistants aka leeches, lick spittles and lay-abouts, where much of the money disappeared. Bree Olson is no dummy and she certainly saw the writing on the wall once she got inside the walls of SVL for an extended period of time. You can infer from some of her comments that she did not think much of more than a few members of Charlie's gang.

The most dangerous people to any wealthy celebrities finances is their accountants and fianacial advisors.

Unfortunately Charlie will never really hit rock bottom. His family and hangers on would never allow it.

Charlie will bounce back from being fired. This is not the end of the world, just TAAHM.

He just bought a new house, so I doubt he's broke. Go, Charlie; you'll show 'em!

Getting paid for more than 2M per episode is a helluva lot of money for doing nothing. All he needed to do was just to show up and be himself. No acting needed, like he knows how to act!

The sweetest job anybody could have it. And he had to blow it! Shame on him! If you were picking upwards of 2M per episode, would you turn on your bosses, producers, Warner Bros., the network that plays it, like he did?

He showed no freaking loyalty being the ingrate that he is. He bad-mouths them all and sued them collectively for $100M?

He is nothing but a spoiled brat who never grew up and never matured to understand that everything is a two way street.
He bashes the mother of his children and calls her Denise Poorchard. Well, he can be rest assured that he is going down (poorer than poorchard) quickly as consequences of his actions which he is still dodging his responsibilities.

Vas al impierno ahora, Carlito, por que satanas es esperando para ti.

Gee, I wonder where that $10 million went...

It's now crystal clear that the only reason CBS & WB put up with Chuckie's shenan****ns for so long was so they could ensure they were repaid. If there hadn't been a loan, he would have been booted a long time ago.

Hmmm... not sure what it is about the word s.h.e.n.a.n.i.g.a.n.s that gets caught by the TMZ filters...

All that money...and look at his teeth. He sure did not spend it on the dentist!
I wonder about all this money he promised to Japan when he was
selling his "torpedo of poop" tickets. Charlie has become very
quiet about his promised charitable donations...
