Charlie Harper's

Exit From 'Men' --

Dee Plane!!!

6/3/2011 11:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Harper -- Charlie Sheen's character on "Two and a Half Men" -- will probably get a "French kiss off" from creator Chuck Lorre.  Worry not ... we'll explain.

0603_men_bon_voyage_launch_EX_v2
During the last original episode that aired February 14, Harper and his stalker/neighbor Rose were headed for the airport to catch a flight to Paris.

Sources connected with the production tell TMZ ... it's likely Lorre will use the flight to rid the show of Charlie Harper once and for all.   And get this -- the flight was never intended to be a cliffhanger -- it just happened that was the last episode shot before Charlie Sheen melted down.

Of course, the obvious scenario is a plane crash.  But our sources say that's not going to happen because producers are not going to make the other passengers sacrificial lambs -- even though they don't really exist.

As for what Lorre is planning ... we're told it's not in cement, but Charlie Harper could bid adieu to Malibu and say bonjour to Paris.

Please keep Melanie! I LOVE Rose! I think she and Ashton could have a great and twisted sort of relationship...

I think they can say him and rose are living in Paris and he cheats on her and gets WAY into the Paris lifestyle and Rose comes back........(so she can have her job back after a few episodes and stalk Ashton LOL)

They're not going to kill him off as this is all about making it to syndication. If the show is to survive in syndication they don't want people thinking the main character is dead for good. The show can probably struggle along until the season is up. Even though Lorre has to prove himself the winner out of all of this the show is most likely done.

I wonder y the link for info regarding James Arness' death came to this page. And I'm really perplexed as to why there is no story at all about him.

Lorre and Charlie walk off into the sunset holding hands singing "Why can't we all just get along..." Lorre goes ont oa another series which pans out after he fights with another star. Ashton shows up for the remaining year of the show until it's end. Cryer gets his own series and the kid becomes a surfer in Malibu autographing at the beach. Charlie eventually becomes a priest.

It really doesn't matter how he kills Charlie off, without Charlie's character the series is dead anyway lol!! Ashton Kutcher couldn't act his way out of a paper bag and sorry but there is no way anyone will believe he's a lady killer, he looks like a kid himself lol! The only way the program worked was with Charlie Sheen playing the bad boy, because that was the image everyone had of him in real life and seeing him happy to send himself up was what made the program!
The kid isn't a kid anymore, Jon Cryer and Charlie bounced off of one another in the show well, Ashton just has too clean cut an image to be remotely believable if they try to introduce him as the new seducer of women - knowing Lorre he'll probably end up being Charlie's secret love child lol!!

Who cares the show is dead without Charlie. I won't even be watching to find out how he is written off the show.

As much as i loved TAHM is had already jumped the shark and now without Charlie it's on life support because the money hungry producers can't do the right thing and pull the plug.

Also Charlie's contract was pretty bullet proof. Warner is going to have a hard time screwing him over like they think they can, even if it has to go to arbitration instead of court.

So my storyline could work here. Have Charlie disappear and an old school buddy (Enter Ashton) show up in his place trying to pretend to be Charlie because he was so obsessed with Charlie and wanting to be like him. Everyone just kind of plays along with it at first because, well...he's kind of crazy and they're hoping he may lead them to what happened to Charlie, all the while trying to pretend that yes, he IS Charlie. But after a while, everyone starts to like this new Charlie much better than the old Charlie, even though he has a screw loose. They decide they'd rather keep this Charlie and give up looking for the old Charlie. See? Now was that so hard? I can write this stuff!

@Jennifer, I think Charlie is too old to have Ashton play a school friend. Ashton could play a person in his 20's still while Charlie looks to be 50 plus (I know he is in his mid forties, just saying he is too old to be Ashton K character buddy from school)

Dragon Tattoo - true. It doesn't have to be a school buddy, he could have met the guy anywhere. Puckett - don't worry, I don't intend to. I'm just having fun. Glad to know that you are in such good humor.

Killing him off would be to... permenant. Lorre is going with the less dramatic approach in hopes he either has a change of heart (along with a change in behavior, etc) and returns or just in case Ashton can't meet with the same ratings.

@jennifer, yeah he could be a neighborhood friend I suppose. Don't mind Puckett comment.

I hear the cologne over in France may even be strong enough to cover Chucky Sleeze's stench. Too bad it's not for real.....
