Police:

Ryan Dunn

Crashed at 130 MPH

6/21/2011 4:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Ryan Dunn was doing 130 miles-per-hour in his Porsche at the time of the horrible crash that killed the "Jackass" star and his passenger -- this according to West Goshen police.

Police Chief Michael Carroll told reporters an accident reconstruction team determined the speed of the crash after inspecting the accident scene. Officials say Dunn's car collided with a guardrail at high speed, crashed in the woods and burst into flames.

According to Carroll, the crash was catastrophic -- claiming he's "never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was ... even before it caught on fire."

Carroll called the accident the "worst" he's ever seen ... by far.

This man payed the most insane price for his actions. He not only lost his own life but payed the life of a friend too. All you people are very insensative, like none of you have ever made a mistake before, doubtfully one like this, but everyone makes mistakes and shouldn't be treated any less than you and I. RIP Ryan

MartyMcFly,

Not too sure how I feel about the passenger. I mean if Dunn was really driving drunk this guy let him get behind the wheel of a car and did nothing to stop him.

OK, to everyone who feels so sorry for the passenger and blaming Ryan Dunn for killing him, the passenger is JUST as guilty. He was probably drinking with him all day and he got in the car on his own free will. No one forced him to ride! Also, I'm 100% sure most of you on here coming down on Ryan Dunn for drinking and driving and saying he deserved to die for it are ******* ridiculous and have probably drank and drive a time or two yourselves! This is just a terrible accident, could happen to anyone but this guy was famous so it's news. No one deserves to die for making bad choices. If that was the case, we would all be dead.

Duh! Maybe it was one of those actors on NCIS, CSI, or Bones or any other show that has a coroner for that matter. Heck, maybe it was HOUSE that made the identification. Duh, ever heard of a Medical Examiner. I have no idea how many there in the country but dang even a small country town has a doctor........Someone must be a member of the Idiots-R-Us club.

Ryan Dunn may u rest in peice, and re: Roger Ebert- WTF is up with his face, he looks like the elephant man that got jacked-assed!-He's got his 2 feet in the grave but his face is melting into the grave. Hope he dies soon so Ryan Dunn can kick his face into place in the other side. As an embalmer myself, R. Ebert is beyond repair, just hope it's a closed casket for that old fart because he's fkn scary looking, well- Next to my mother in law.

The creepy thing is I don't know if I am being to literal about the coroners report but when a professional whos job is death says "Blunt impact AND Fire." I believe that is saying he may of found smoke damage in his lungs suggesting that he had survived for a short while after the "Blunt Impact." Otherwise the cause of death would of just been "Blunt Impact." A professional choices his words carefully especially when signing off to cause of death. If somebody was to execute somebody then set their house on fire to cover their tracks I don't think a coroner would say "Cause of death is gunshot AND fire." Maybe Im reading too into it but man...in this case scenario its sad if anyone dies for anything but to die on fire? Thats unimaginable.

ok, R.I.P Dunn.....ok, so after reading the news reports and seeing the new coverage on t.v. the bartender said that they each had, 3 beers and 3 shots. they were at the bar four 3-4 hours, and they didnt seem drunk. this is a place that ryan went to alot, since it was in west checter, and im going to assume that he knew the bartender, plus have you have seen the jackass guys,i would have to assume that amount of drinks in that time period for someone who does drink, would not impair him, also if the car was burned as bad as its being reported, then how could they identify ryan, from his tattoos, and his beard, seems to me that, those would be burnt off, if they were burned as bad as being reported. and hitting a guardrail at 130mph, seem like you would go through it, itstead of hitting hit and flipping over it
----------------------

It only takes a small amount of alcohol to slow down your judgement and when you are doing 130mph you better not have any alcohol in you because you will crash under the legal limit or not. You are obviously not even bright enough to post on TMZ.
