Hulk Hogan
's son Nick Hogan is incredibly relieved that Jerry "The King" Lawler has stabilized since his heart attack Monday night -- but tells TMZ, it might be time Lawler considered retirement.

Nick tells us, wrestling "takes a toll" on your body -- and as a result, "most guys retire around 50ish." Lawler is 62.

According to Nick, people in the wrestling business have varied career lengths -- but when injuries come into play, it's hard to ignore the obvious ... it's time to slow down.

Nick uses his own dad as an example -- saying even his 59-year-old father has cut back drastically on wrestling because of serious back injuries.

Nick's parting words -- "Our prayers are with you, Jerry. Glad to hear you're alright."

Nick should stick with what he knows best - driving fast and killing people.

Nick Hogan should stop wrapping cars around trees and ruining peoples lives...you're the last authority anyone will turn to on life choices. Doucher.

It would be nice if the cameraman / interviewer would ask a short, simple question --- then shut the hell up and let the CELEB answer!!!!

Why is TMZ talking to a clueless putz like Nick Hogan? He couldn't care less about wrestling except when they needed a storyline for the show. People who follow the WWE already know Vince has contacted Jerry and told him he always has a job with the WWE, on commentary and behind the scenes. I doubt he'll let Jerry wrestle for a while. It's up to Jerry what he wants to do but he's a legend, he can stick with the easier work.

The newest update about Jerry "King" Lawler -- he hasn't suffer'd a heart attack! Their saying he has brain damage due to lack of oxygen for them taking to long to diagnose his systems....per his ex-wife!

NIcky boy should worry about his buddy his majorly screwed up in that car accident and not worry about if Jerry Lawler returns to wrestling or not. There is no reason why he cannot keep on doing commentary for the WWE. If he is able to get his health back to 100% there is even no reason why he cannot step in the ring on occasion. Get well soon Jerry and no matter what you do from here thanks for some fun nights! God Bless.
