NFL's Final Decision

TERRIBLE Call Stands

The NFL is backing what's being called the WORST CALL IN LEAGUE HISTORY -- refusing to overturn last night's Seattle Seahawks touchdown against the Green Bay Packers ... and standing by their replacement refs.

League officials released a statement moments ago, saying, "Referee Wayne Elliott determined that no indisputable visual evidence existed to overturn the call on the field, and as a result, the on-field ruling of touchdown stood."

The NFL goes on to say upon even further review of the video today ... it supports the "decision not to overturn the on-field ruling" and the result of the game is final.

In other news, NFL broadcasts are now available in braille.

It's not the worst call ever. Stupid internets and it's hyperbole. Awful call, to be sure.

Roger Goddell is a real tough guy when it comes to bullying players under the guise protect the shield. He has too much power and can suspend a player or slander his name without the player getting due process. But when it comes to these NFL games that look like they are being officiated by little leagure referees Mr tough guy Godell has nothing to say, he is a company man who su-cks up to the owners. If the NFL owners can afford to travel in private jets they can afford to pay the real refs, as it is now these games are a joke to watch. It almost feels like a reality show where you asked guys off the street to ref NFL games just for laughs

From a person who doesn't care which team won this game, or about football in general...I watched the replay footage of this play and the Greenbay Packer player Jennings caught that football 100%. I don't understand why there would be any other call on this.

The real referees need to stop whining and get back to work.
NFL referees are paid between $30,000 and $130,000 per season depending on their position and experiences.
That's for about...six months of work.
And...a full week of down time between each work day.
The rest of the working population works 5 days then gets 2 days off for the weekend...NFL referees work 1 day on the weekend then get the rest of the week off.
They're paid very well.
F-ckin' unions :D

If Rodgers had not been sacked 8 times the first half the Packers would n ot have been in that position. Same goes for the Seahaks horrible second half. I heard this am that some of the refs were let go from Seattle's lingerie football....horrible calls the second half that determined the game.

The Seahawk is reaching around the Packer's shoulder and HE has possesion? That picture says it all. The Packer had his hands on it first. He could maybe of tossed it backwards out of the endzone.

The NFL took a giant step for diversity by allowing unqualified and disadvantaged officials officiate NFL games. Isn't that what fairness is all about ?
You can't be mad at the replacement officials when the real blame goes to the NFL Players Union for allowing their players to take the field. The idea each on field element needs their own union has made Americas union founders rolling over in their graves.
we should call it what it is. Scabs on the field with scabs.

What's the point of instant replay? Oh wait...they were looking at that too. Somebody needs to get their eyes checked. I don't care for football, but I can CLEARLY tell who had the ball. He must have been Validictorian at BAU (Blind A$$ University).

No 5hit. A call is a call. A final is a final. It's not the first time calls have been totally screwed up, except it wasn't the first string refs that fcked up this time.

This whole season needs an asterik next to it. Nothing should count. Might as well stop playing now.
