Candy Crowley

CNN Ducking Controversy

You'd think CNN would be thrilled with all the controversy over Candy Crowley's performance at last night's Presidential debate, but we've learned network honchos are NOT happy she's become part of the story.

Multiple sources connected with CNN tell TMZ ... the honchos think Candy did a good job, but they're freaking out over allegations that she was pro-Obama and harsh on Romney. As one source put it, "They want to make all of the publicity over Candy just go away, because it calls into question CNN's impartiality."

Another well-connected CNN source scoffs at the reaction, telling us, "It's typical. This type of publicity is great. More people know who Candy Crowley is than ever before, and CNN is blowing the chance of exploiting it."

A CNN source says putting Candy on the network last night immediately following the debate was not because CNN was bragging about her performance ... it was "damage control."

The source added, "What CNN cares about is the brand.  It's all about the brand."

So 1980.

Throwback kid

She really kissed Obama's a-s-s just like these moron celebs and the media do. Obama is a false prohet. All his life Obama was told he was special and destined for greatness. Obama finally gets the number one job in the country and we find out he has no idea what he is doing? He doesn't know anything about economics, and has no idea how to create jobs. He was a community organizer who was never qualified to be President and the American people found out the hard way. It would be nice for the country to see him voted out of office next month

Who was that supposed moderator on that Presidential debate?? Looked like Mama "Cass" Elliot from the Mamas and the Papas! Please, try to mix in a few salads when you eat! They really "stacked the deck" by assigning her as the moderator of this debate...because she FAILED MISERABLY!! She was ANYTHING, BUT UN-BIASED and OBJECTIVE in the DEBATE! As a moderator...She wasn't supposed to ACT and be ASSIGNED as the personal OBUMBLER ENABLER and FACT-CHECKER in a DEBATE!!! To hide the "obvious" LIES her "hero" OBUMBLER WAS TELLING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IN!!! She was supposed to UNBIASED as the MODERATOR, but alas, how is that ever possible when you are a member of the compliant, boot-licking OBAMA-LOVING LAMESTREAM MEDIA, that WILL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT their "hero" and "boy blunder" from his failed policies!!!??? Talk about impartiality..this SOW ONLY managed to interrupt Romney from speaking a total 29 times, while interrupted her "hero" OBUMBLER only 9 times.

Man I just got called a racist on the previous page for discussing the price of gas when Obama left office. No facts just name calling, face it libs you have nothing to defend Obama's record. Oh, the smell of desperation. Love it. By the way Romney is now up by 6 points in national poll.

Ha, CNN hasn't cared about impartiality for decades. They are nothing more than a propaganda agency for Obama or anyone who is liberal.

Total BS. She said the truth on both sides- told Obama he was right on that & said Romney was right about the 14 days. What's not even about that? As soon as people start crying foul on the moderator you know they lost.

Candy Crowley’s explanation about what she did during the Benghazi segment of the debate was factually false. In regard to her decision to step in and support Obama as Romney was addressing the Benghazi scandal, Crowley claimed the following on CNN this morning: “There was this point where they both kind of looked at me, you know, and then, you know, Romney’s looking at me, the president’s looking at me, and what I wanted to do was move this along.”

Her claim is false and that is easily verifiable on the tape. They did not “both” look at her for help before she stepped in. There was only **one** debater who was looking at her at all when she stepped in: President Obama. Governor Romney only looked at her **after** she began to support President Obama – and understandably so. She’s supposed to be a moderator, not another debater.

Additionally, on CNN with Anderson Cooper, Candy gave the following rationale for her “correction” of Governor Romney: “Romney was right in the main, I just think he picked the wrong word.”

First, that certainly sounds a lot more uncertain than what she said on national television during the debate, doesn’t it? Did she say “I think” or anything like that? No, she stated it, **as a fact**. Second, if her correction of Romney was about precision in language, then she and president Obama are the ones who are incorrect, not Romney. In fact, President Obama **did not** say during his Rose Garden press conference “that this was an act of terror." He studiously avoided labeling the Benghazi attack as an act of terrorism and the perpetrators as terrorists and instead used several other phrases at the beginning of his Rose Garden press conference. And then, at the end of the conference, in a more ambiguous context that included a reference to the 9-11 attacks, President Obama spoke more broadly about, “acts of terror”.

And as the person who asked the question at the debate pointed out, Obama didn't answer the question. Why didn't Candy ask a follow up and direct Obama to actually answer the question as she did at other times?

All she's got is a Bachelors degree in English!
Her husband ran away years ago and her two son's, one is an overachiever and the other a loser in a band, have nothing to do with her.
I love to look at peoples personal lives when their public lives are filled with lies and prejudice.

Oink, Oink, Candy!
