A week after news surfaced of the demise of her eight-year marriage to Josh Brolin, Diane Lane was spotted out for the first time ... newly single and ready to mingle.
The gorgeous "Unfaithful" star stepped out for a night on the town with her best celebrity girlfriends Laura Dern and Ted Danson's wife Mary Steenburgen.
Diane filed for divorce two weeks ago from Josh, citing irreconcilable differences.
The 48-year-old babe should have no problem getting back into the dating game.

For such a young age and being a girl, The Outsiders writer S.E. Hinton had an amazing grasp of the troubles boys and men go through and how it impacted them.
Recall an interview where she was asked why her stories focus so much on boy's issues rather than the ever-popular girl's issues writings
...."because I felt nobody was paying attention to boys and what they go through and wanted to inform people"
