Rape Survivors

Want Reebok to Deliver

Rick Ross' Head

4/9/2013 10:14 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Reebok supports date rape by supporting Rick Ross ... that's the way a leading women's group and scores of rape survivors see it.

UltraViolet -- a women's rights group 400,000 strong -- is incensed the company is not dumping Ross in the wake of his new song, which fantasizes about date rape.

The song -- "U.O.E.N.O."  -- has a line, "Put Molly all in the champagne.  She ain't even know it.  I took her home and I enjoy that.  She ain't even know it."

Molly is slang for Ecstasy.

The group -- along with 150 rape survivors -- grouses, "Every single day that Reebok continues rewarding Rick Ross with a lucrative endorsement deal, Reebok is condoning rape."

We reached out to Reebok today, but we got crickets.

As for Ross ... he issued a lukewarm apology, saying the lyrics were misunderstood and he never used the word rape.

Sometimes you don't have to use the word, when the thought is clear.

phuken funny guy

None of these bishes wore Reebok to begin with. That's like saying the Lakers condone rape cause they have Kobe Bryant on their team. RCA condones domestic violence cause they have Chris Brown on their label. And the Eagles condone animal abuse cause they have Michael Vick. BICH PLEASE!

I was really disgusted by his lyrics. He definitely shouldn't glorify rape. I almost wish someone would date rape him, so he would know what he's actually rapping about.
I was drugged once at a club and I was lucky my friends took me home. The same has happened to my friends, and I can tell you, it's freaking scary. There's nothing cool about that. It's disgusting and gutless.

Hey Rick... You are a coward and not a real man. Treat women with respect. Rape is serious. Your lyrics are hate towards women. Anyone who doesn't see the power of words is truly one dimensional. I hope Reebok didn't pay much for his services (whatever he does for them)...

You guys do know that Rick Ross never actually raped anyone, right. Lots of rappers sing about things that are intentionally over the top/brutal/controversial (Like the time Eminem threatened to murder his ex wife). If you're bitching about it online, you're adding fuel to the fire, and controversy creates cash.

I don't think so

Wow! And this, from women were supposedly raped and they feel nothing about pushing someone under the bus because of their perceptions of a song - Charming? If you have no feeling for others, how on earth do you expect people to have any feelings for your situations?

The name of the freakin' song practically promotes rape. Especially if he talked about the drugging. Do you guys remember Britney's song If You Seek Amy and what it really meant... U.O.E.N.O is the same type of title. U (You) O (Wont) E.N. (Even, or e'en slang) O (Know) Sound it out fluidly and the U.O. create the w sound and the N leads into the O making it know.
