Gia Allemand

Boyfriend Said 'I Don't Love You Anymore'

8/20/2013 2:15 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Bachelor" contestant Gia Allemand had a fight with her boyfriend hours before she killed herself, and he told her "I don't love you anymore."

Gia had accused NBA basketball player Ryan Anderson of being unfaithful during lunch the day she died.  During the ride back to her house -- where they stopped at a Walgreens to get her NyQuil --  Gia told Ryan she still loved him but then he dropped the bombshell about his feelings.

We broke the story ... Gia hanged herself in her New Orleans home.  According to official docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Gia used a vacuum cleaner cord to end her life.  It was tied to the center section of her spiral staircase and tied to the handrail on the second floor.

It appears Gia was on the phone with her mom when she hanged herself.  Her mom told cops during the call the phone "had gone silent" and the mother tried in vain to communicate with her for 10 minutes.

Ryan went back to the house to check on Gia, and found her sitting on the stairs with the cord "wrapped around her neck many times."  She had been without oxygen for 30-40 minutes.

Gia left a suicide note on the dining room table and in it left all of her property to her mother.

Obviously she was responsible for her own actions but this guy is a creep.

Not only did he not respect her enough to end the relationship before it got to the point that he cheated on her, but after she told him she was willing to forgive him and work on their relationship he told her he didn't love her anymore. He's really cold.

I liked what NOF had to say. When they say they dont love you anymore. You have to accept it and move on. Change is good. You just might not think so at the time.

Wow, poor chick, obvious serious self esteem he doesn't love you anymore, cry your eyes out for a while, eat pie and ice cream, watch sad movies, cry some more.......then MOVE ON. Pretty girl, waaaaay too sensitive. Poor guy, guilt trip time now.

If he really had been cheating and she killed herself, now that would make him a real jerk that should live with this forever and ever and ever. It's still a selfish act though, so sorry for her Mother.

The ultimate act of selfishness one that you can't get a do over on. It's the tantrum of death.

Selfish little girl. What a horrible thing to leave your mom and that poor man whom she hoped would find her. She has a VERY different view of her actions Now! I hope those left behind can find peace.

This is tragic Only if Selfish is the new Tragic! I have a 23 - yr- old friend, who, after meeting her now boyfriend about a month, was informed she had Leukaemia during her first semester of college. While waiting for bone marrow transplant, she lost her family home and her Mom to a fire, THAT's TRAGIC, This was selfish!!! She continues to fight and focus on all that is still good and is doing well.

It sounds to me like she probably wanted to be rescued. I mean why do it with your mom on the phone and knowing that the guy was about to come home? A nasty trick with very sad consequences. She was a beautiful sweet girl and it's really ****ed up that she had to resort to this no matter what the real intention. Suicide ****s everyone up, but so does cheating - remember that peeps. Some people just can't handle the betrayal.

TMZ has clearly not consulted the National Institute of Mental Health's guidelines on reporting and Suicide contagion. This is unfortunate, and made worse because many of your readers are likely within the age demographic most affected by suicide contagion.

I have no expectation of high level reporting from this outlet, but responsible non-stigmatizing reporting the issue of suicide is essential. Particularly because an estimate one in four Americans will suffer an a diagnosable mental illness within they're lifetime.

Please take the time to educate yourself on this issue.

Thank you.
