Charlie Sheen
just showed up for jury duty in Los Angeles, and tells TMZ he's praying for a multiple murder case.

Charlie showed up in rare form ... bragging about the new tattoo on his arm -- which is actually pretty awesome.

We also asked him if he's more or less qualified to pass judgment on someone up on drug charges, and without missing a beat he says he's more qualified.

So we gotta ask ...

Both attorneys will dismiss him in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't have any problem with having him on my jury. He has a good side to him...when he's not being a douchebag.

I LOVE it if Charlie Sheen was on the jury deciding how much money to give me for a BAD collision I was in. SInce the jury only came up with 1,500, whereas I had over 30 thou in medical bills along, I am sure he could have persuaded the jury to give me the full amount of my under-insured coverage.

Maybe it will be a trial about someone arrested for cocaine and has a porn addiction.

Who wouldn't want him on your jury if the charge is drug or hooker related?

So pathetic that not one soul can comment about Charlie without mentioning drugs, porn stars or hookers. He is so much more than that. Open your eyes people! I would be completely open and comfortable with Charlie being a judge on my case, if I had one.

Thankfully there would be 11 others also necessary for a verdict. At the most he could cause a hung jury, just out of spite or because he isn't thinking straight, but that would affect double jeopardy on a murder case, so while he might cost the govt. a lot of $$ to re-try someone, I guess he has the right to at least be considered.

If anything, I think he might be too lenient.

He was only picked because somebody's looking for a mistrial.

I thought Charlie had a very public breakdown a couple of years ago, and therefore I didn't think he qualified as a juror.
