'Fast and Furious 7'

Critical Paul Walker Scenes

Were Days From Filming

12/1/2013 11:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The new "Fast and Furious" movie was scheduled to shoot key scenes with Paul Walker this week -- and on the heels of his death, several members of the cast and crew say they won't be returning to the set anytime soon ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the production tell us most of the actors and crew were supposed to fly to Atlanta this weekend to resume filming on Tuesday ... but they're all expecting a halt in production.

Universal -- the studio behind the movie -- hasn't announced when, or if, they'll start shooting again ... but we're told some of the main stars are too distraught to work anyway.

According to our sources ... most of this week's scenes centered around Paul, so even if Universal were to go forward ... it would need major rewrites.

Ultimately, the biggest hurdle to completing 'FF7' could be the emotions of the actors. As one source put it, "No one wants to even think about the movie. Period."

We contacted Universal for comment ... no word back yet.

1. I'm guessing something in the car "went" prior to impact.

-These dudes were just too damn good.

For it to have been about speed.

2. Rare are the Action Stars that Live Their Genre.

For this reason alone - God Bless these two Fallen Warriors -

Unbelievably-horrible week-end for the families/pals.

You'd have to " live" one of these tragedies -

... to wrap your head around one.

...understand it.

You almost can't go on - that's how awful it is.

They could write into the script that he somehow died in a car crash. Then the cast could be all depressed and it would look like part of the movie. They could say some enemy blew up his car while he was just driving around. Then they will have a reason for the cast to go after more villains.

This just means more money for Universal. More people are gonna want to watch the movie once it comes out.

28300 Rye Canyon Loop, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County . go street view follow the road around the corner(going up hill), as you round the corner into a straight away look ahead on the right. You will see an entrance to a building and parking/docks to it's right. The driveway to the parking lot the pole on the left side that has the 35 miles an hour sign on it is the one they hit. I am guessing he lost control coming out of the corner. The clutch on that is tricky slip it around a corner and the ass end breaks.

His allegedly dying in that car crash is nothing more then a bizarre Fast & Furious 7 promo! This will double the box office income . . .

I can completely understand wanting to know if FF7 will continue to be worked on, but one had to expect that WB wouldn't come back with an answer so soon. The poor fellow just died yesterday in a horrific car accident (input the irony). I assume the movie will be completed eventually, but if he were your friend. Wouldn't you want to mourn first.

That being said, I do hope his family keeps ok in their loss. As well as the F&F crew.

Stay classy.

Of course they can't just go back to work. They're in shock & grief. It's traumatic when someone close dies so tragically.

This man had a big role in FF7,but i think they should complete it so that we can remember it as his last movie.

Obviously, and as sad as this sounds - with no disrespect - a Paul Walker look-alike actor is going to be needed. I think William Levy should be considered.

A sad day hearing of the sudden death of a great actor, he will truly be missed on the movie screens. My sympathy goes to his family, friends and the filming industry.

His death and loss was tragic, yes. But is his loss critical to the movie franchise? Hollywood will use the time honored trick of introducing a new character with similarites in looks but with an edge. Ryan Gosling as his long lost or half brother and the franchise lives on.

To those who made such stupid comments in on the strength of someones death shows true ignorance. I have sympathy for them because it shows their mindset. #sosad
