'Duck Dynasty' Stars

Biggest Sponsor Pledges Support

Under Armour Won't Cut Ties

12/19/2013 1:34 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The guys from "Duck Dynasty" are NOT in danger of losing their biggest sponsor, Under Armour -- 'cause while the company tells TMZ its not down with Phil Roberston's homophobic comments, its not willing to kill the business relationship ... yet.

UA -- which sponsors the Duck Commander business, founded by Phil -- just issued a statement to TMZ ... saying, "We have no plans to change our current relationship.

The company adds, "We are obviously aware of the situation. And his comments are not indicative of Under Armour's views."

UA insists the company is committed to treating all people equally and with respect ... even if Phil isn't.

We are all entitled to our own opinions and beliefs. He did nothing wrong.

Who's writing your articles? (Or should that be "Whose righting you're articles?")... "it's biggest sponsor" should be the possessive "its" without an apostrophe and then the following "its not down" and "its not willing" should be the contraction "it's" WITH the apostrophe. Oh, and everyone is entitled to freedom of expression just as a corporation is entitled to not be associated with someone who says something that many view as hateful.

Won't be watching A&E anymore. They don't believe in Free Speech.

Good! He is not worried about what the gay community thinks! Neither are his sponsors!!

Why do liberal people claim to be so open minded but are closed minded when it comes to having individual beliefs...leave Phil alone!! People are entitled to their opinion without having to have closed minded liberals tell them how to think just because money is involved...makes you wonder what liberal people's motives are. Do they want you to accept them or do they want some kind of windfall every time someone says something they don't agree with...seems to me liberal people are always in search of an easy buck.

Omg who cares what he said. He is allowed to express his views. They weren't hateful or mean. The gay and lesbian communities need to pull the d*ck out of their asses and we need to quit walking on eggshells for people just because his views are different then that of other people. I am all for marriage equality but people getting their panties in a twist for an interview he gave. You don't like it? Then don't watch the damn show.

I am shocked! What are we doing? Why? How can we penalize someone for what they believe? That is not right! I am gay and I am not offened by what Phil Robertson had to say. That is his opinion, and he should be allowed to speak openly about how and what he feels and thinks without being judged. I worked in a private prison for three and a half years. While there I came into contact with Aaron Brotherhood, KKK members, members of the different gangs and I did not have a problem with them being in the groups that I facilitated. I respected them for their beliefs and they respected me being gay and African American. I did not try to change what they believed. As a matter of fact, I never engaged with them in their belief. I think, someone has the right to dislike, or even hate me for whatever reasons they may have, without them being judged. them. I think we are going too far now. I want to apologize to Phil for this craziness around his personal belief.

Their not staying with Duck Dynasty because they believe in the freedom on Speech. The real reason is the show rating are high and it makes a lot of money, and they don't want to loose any customers

"UA insists the company is committed to treating all people equally and with respect ... even if Phil isn't."

He said nothing about treating gay people unequally or without respect.
