'70s Show' Actress

OD'd on 'Multiple Drugs'

EXCLUSIVE

"That '70s Show" actress Lisa Robin Kelly died from "multiple drug intoxication"  ... and the L.A. County Coroner tells TMZ her death has been ruled an accidental overdose.

TMZ broke the story ... Kelly -- who played Eric Forman's older sister on the show -- died August 15th at an alcohol rehab facility in L.A. County.

An autopsy performed immediately after she died failed to identify the exact cause of death --  the coroner had to wait until the toxicology results were in.

The coroner did not identify which drugs were in her system.

Just days before her death, Kelly had been hospitalized with an alarmingly high .34 blood alcohol level ... a level that can sometimes lead to death.

The Coroner's full report will be released within 2 weeks.

Bet ya the drugs they gave her in treatment mixed with the booze and other sh*t she had in her system and that killed her.. not the booze. If it were just the booze and not their fault the cause of death would be out and all over. Its called Cover up!

Barbiturates are commonly given to counter alcohol withdrawal. Maybe she was taking a 'codone along with it.

They can call it accidental, but when you have previously had a ba level of .34, it is hardly an accident if you subsequently mix drugs and alcohol and die from the combination. Unresolved alcohol issues are often horribly depressing. You try so hard to quit, fail time and again and finally just give up and only want the pain to end. I feel great sympathy for these people. My mother died in a similar fashion. Addiction is painful.

wait, if she was hospitalized "days" before..how can she die of an overdose?...she died of alcohol withdrawl ffs. The place is worried her family will sue because they failed to medicate her withdrawl symptoms.

Why is it that dumb druggie celebrities always die from "accidental" ODs. Good Riddance!

Please be kind people; Lisa wasn't some "dome druggie celebrity", she was very down to earth and the kind of person anyone would love.

When you have a problem, sometimes it attracts bad people into your life and they need you to stay in that head to stay with them.

Not to get too deep into it, but I was a really close friend of hers, NOT the two guys who like to chat through TMZ and I don't profit from her.

Please take my word for it... she did not kill herself and she was not a junkie. She wasn't a saint and she had a problem, but she was brilliant, VERY kind, funny and this is a tragic situation.

Her family is terrific too, they read this stuff and it gets archived through the net as well. Please treat her memory with respect.

I'm hope the LAPD will do their job and make sure Lisa didn't die for nothing, but who knows. I'm just happy I knew her and am forever grateful for her friendship.

Never good to speculate. We have no idea what drugs she took. Period.
