'Girl Meets World' Kid

I Make $8,000 a Week

... And I'm 6 Years Old

1/10/2014 12:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The youngest child on the new Disney sitcom "Girl Meets World" makes WAY more money than you ... $8,000 a week to be exact ... and he's only 6 years old.

According to the minor contract for August Maturo -- who plays the youngest son of Cory and Topanga on the show -- the child actor is set to earn $8,000 per episode (one a week) for the first season of the show.

If the show is approved for additional seasons, he's set to earn even more -- up to $9,261 per episode by Season 4. Pretty sweet.

It obviously pays to be one of the main characters ... we got the minor contract for another kid on the show (who plays the daughter's love interest) and he's only set to make about $4,800 an episode.

This only shows how sick Hollywood really is, no kid is worth 8000 grand per week on some lame TV show. We have millions of people out of work, prices continue to increase on everything, and this kid makes 8000 per week ? while America suffers the rich get richer every week.

My brother has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering he spent 12 years earning and makes a fraction of what this kid does.

He'll also be paying his student loans off until middle-age, but that's fair. That's fair.

He kinda looks like Topanga so I think the casting agent did a great job.

I would ask a lot more then $9 an episode for season 2, if the show is a hit. Since Disney is known for keeping a show for 4 years and then canceling it. There are some exceptions, but they would rather use the re-runs and pay them a small royalty.

My name is Ken Jacobson. I am the Manager of Peyton Meyer, the "love interest" referred to in the article.

The information contained in the article is completely inaccurate. Sorry, TMZ...but you got it wrong this time by a long shot.

I don't know who sold you that "intel", but they created a story of complete fiction that doesn't even remotely come close to the actual salaries of the actors on this least not MY client.
