Michelle Duggar

Transgender People Should Not Get Choice of Restrooms

8/19/2014 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michelle Duggar Anti TransgenderMichelle Duggar is convinced ... child predators are aiming to use the cover of being a transgender to hurt children ... and she's determined to stop them in their tracks.

The "19 Kids and Counting" star is on the warpath against a proposed Arkansas law that would allow transgender people to use either the men's or women's bathroom -- whichever they feel suits them best.

Duggar thinks convicted male child molesters will have a field day if the law passes ... simply dressing up like a woman and perving out in girls restrooms.

She doesn't want her 9 girls subjected to men leering at them in their private space -- so she's voiced a robocall to AR voters urging them to vote no ... and it's fascinating.

I back gay rights 100%, but I agree with not letting transvestite and transsexuals using the opposite sex bathrooms.

My friend is a "tranny" as you call them.. And never has he referred to himself as one. If he must, he says transgender, but even then.. That is not something that comes up in everyday convos with everyday people. You would not even know he was a "tranny" in less he told you he was born a girl.... He has facial hair, no breast and is a weight lifter. Imagine how freaked out you would be to see him in a females bathroom. He looks like a man, you would run screaming that he needs to use the mens bathroom, cause he would confuse the little girls in the bathroom, he may have been born female... But he looks more like a man then most men I know... How would you explain that to your dauthers? "Oh honey, its ok, I know its a man in our bathroom, dont worry about it, he must have been born with a vajaja.... " no... Women would run out screaning a man was in the bathrrom prob googling their kids.. FFS
The point... With out him informing you... No one would know..
I can care less which bathroom they go in.. My husband has had to take our daughter into the mens bathroom.. Who cares... We are just depositing waste into it and move on..
Im more concerned with what male family is around my child then some stranger giving her the googly eyes while she closes a stall door... Remember, Most bathrooms have stall doors... In less these so called "trannys" have x-ray vision, they wont be able to see anything anyway..

It doesn't sound like she's worried about those who are truly transgender...she's worried about predators pretending to be transsexual to gain easier access to potential victims via public restrooms. I guess it could be a concern, but if someone is that sick then they'll find another way to victimize someone. It's a pretty illogical argument on her part.

She's actually watering down the real concern people should have with this rare scenario. The big concern would be that there are essentially no womens' or mens' rooms anymore.

Why? So let's say we let transsexuals use the women's room. Who is to say men can't just roll up in the women's room or vice-versa. Will the law discriminate by saying a person can only be a transsexual if they wear clothes traditionally associated with the opposite gender. That's pretty conservative thinking.

.01% of women are capable of physically matching the average man (see paper online by David A. Puts of Penn State Dept of Anthropology). Yes, everyone says they know a strong woman and "do you even lift, bro," etc. but they just know the .01% of women and a bunch of nancy-boys.

Currently if a man rolls up in a women's bathroom, people are on notice. "What is he doing there? Get out." If people roll on with this plan, it will give the other 99.whatever% of the population consistent reason for concern over their safety or at least privacy. Pedophiles are a far less common concern than your average rapist. Or even just your average troll who gets satisfaction in making people uncomfortable by exercising their new-found bathroom rights.

If I was a woman, I would be gravely concerned about this - probably not the equality they are looking for.

Dictionary definition doesn't even refer to that.

overall, a bad idea to let people access guns..
