Kendra Duggar’s family is speaking out about the arrest of her husband Joseph Duggar for allegedly molesting a child.
In a statement shared with TMZ, the Caldwells stated they're "troubled and heartbroken" over his alleged actions and "devastated" for his victim, who they described as "courageous in every way" to share her experience.
They went on ... "Our love for this child remains at the forefront of our family’s priorities and minds. We are proud of her for being strong enough to share her story while also retaining her own identity and joy."
Joseph and Kendra Duggar are reunited, and it feels so good ... so says Joseph's lawyer, Albert J. Sauline.
People spoke to the attorney ... who says the couple met up in Arkansas last week just one day after he was released by the Bay County Sheriff's Office in Florida.
Joseph flew back to Arkansas with his dad, Jim Bob Duggar, Sauline says ... where Joseph and Kendra will appear before a judge for their April 29 hearing. The two have been charged with four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment.

Kendra confessed her struggles to Joseph while he remained behind bars in Arkansas in calls on March 21 -- the day after her arrest -- and March 26 ... and TMZ obtained the audio. You can hear in the call ... Kendra says she is so distressed about their legal woes, she could barely walk because she's so weak.
In another chat, she tells her hubby she's having trouble eating anything, calling it a "miracle" when she was able to get down a whole sandwich. She says she even went for an IV to sustain her, and Joseph assures her he's been praying for her health.

Joseph and Kendra Duggar have loads more on their mind than just their recent arrests -- in calls obtained by TMZ, they speak about finances, taxes, and even potentially selling one of their investment properties to help Kendra out while Joseph remained in jail.

They even speak about getting a second property up and running to increase Kendra's stream of income ... but are also open to the idea of selling it down the road -- or building a whole new pad with the help of a HELOC loan!
Kendra Duggar isn't sugarcoating the reality of her husband, Joseph, being behind bars on child molestation charges ... telling him his family is "disappointed" during a jail call obtained by TMZ.
You can hear part of the "19 Kids and Counting" star's chat from last Thursday -- the couple is talking about Joseph's famous family when she says everyone still loves him even though they're not happy about his current situation. And Joe seems understanding of their disappointment ... noting he also feels their love.
