Eduardo Yanez You Slapped My Face ... I'm Slapping Your Ass with a Lawsuit

10/23/2017 3:01 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Eduardo Yanez won't get away clean for slapping a Univision reporter -- not if the reporter gets his way in court ... TMZ has learned.

Paco Fuentes is suing Yanez for the red carpet attack that went viral nearly 2 weeks ago. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Fuentes says Yanez hit him so hard -- as seen in the video -- it caused people around him to "literally freeze in shock."

Fuentes says Yanez continued menacing him by standing and staring at him in the moments after the slap. He's suing the Mexican soap star for assault and battery and emotional distress.

According to the suit, Yanez has shown no remorse because he qualifies his so-called apologies by saying things like, "My private life is not for sale." As we reported, Fuentes had asked Yanez a question about why he didn't pay for his son's damaged car after a car accident.

Yanez told us he IS sorry. He's also under criminal investigation by LAPD.

Meek Mill Airport Assault Case Dismissed

10/23/2017 12:40 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Meek Mill's gotta give it up to his legal team -- the rapper struck another sweet deal and his assault case has been thrown out.

TMZ broke the story ... Meek was charged with misdemeanor assault back in March after allegedly getting into an altercation with someone wanting a pic with the rapper at St. Louis International Airport.

Fast forward 7 months ... Meek's high-powered attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells us Meek struck a deal with prosecutors to have the case dismissed if he performed community service ... which he did at the Veterans Association in Philly.

The news comes on the heels of Meek's reckless driving case -- where his arrest record will be wiped clean if he keeps his nose clean for 6 months.

Lay low, Meek.

Boxing Champ Jermell Charlo If Floyd Returns I Want Him First

10/21/2017 12:05 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Conor McGregor might have to wait ... another huge fighter says he's gonna take a chunk out of Floyd Mayweather's ass if he returns, and this guy is a boxing superstar.

The guy is WBC super welterweight champ Jermell Charlo, who's fresh off a devastating first round knockout of Erickson Lubin a couple of weeks ago.

Charlo hit the Lakers game Thursday night with Brandon Watson -- co-owner of the Team Watson Boxing Gym in L.A. -- and told us if Floyd (who's been working out) is serious about a comeback, he's down.

For the record, Floyd and Charlo are pretty good buddies -- and Charlo respects Floyd immensely -- but wouldn't you fight your pal for a $100 million payday???

Us too.

UFC's Tyron Woodley Demi Lovato Could Take Real MMA Fight ... No Joke!

10/20/2017 1:51 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Demi Lovato can fight -- in fact, she's such a beast in the gym, UFC champ Tyron Woodley is convinced she could hold her own in a real MMA bout.

Lovato has been training her ass off at the Unbreakable gym in L.A. for more than a year -- and owner Jay Glazer has previously told us she WANTS to fight for real.

Well, Tyron says ... IT'S TIME!

The UFC star spelled it out on this week's "Hollywood Beatdown w/ Tyron Woodley" -- where he said he's been in the gym with Demi and saw her fighting skills first hand.

There's more ... Woodley also tells us what's REALLY going down behind the scenes with Jon Jones

Marshawn Lynch Goes Beast Mode On Train 'F**K Tha Chiefs'

10/20/2017 7:16 AM PDT

Here's Marshawn Lynch proving an ejection on national TV can't take the Beast out of his soul, leading an Oakland train on an explicit (yet awesome) chant dissing the rival Chiefs, moments after the game.

BTW, the guy who started the fight that led to Lynch's ejection, Chiefs player Marcus Peters -- a close friend of Lynch -- was ON THE TRAIN with Marshawn getting the business.

Marshawn got booted from the Thursday night's contest for making contact with an official during the fight, then snuck into the stands to watch the game with the people (not joking).

At some point in the night Lynch & Peters took the BART public transit system, and led all the Oakland faithful in a "F**k The Chiefs" chant to celebrate the team's much needed last second win.

Not sure what Marshawn's penalty from the league will be just yet, but we are sure about one thing...

He doesn't care.

Andre Berto Dana White's Right ... Jon Jones Is The #1 Wasted Talent

10/19/2017 8:43 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Jon Jones is the biggest wasted talent in sports history -- so says Andre Berto, who agreed with Dana White's bold statement from earlier this week.

Don't get it twisted -- Andre is a HUGE Jones fan, and told TMZ Sports he "wouldn't say it as harsh" as the UFC honcho ... but the boxing star thinks Jones fits the bill based on all his physical gifts.

"Jon Jones is ridiculously talented, man. Tall, long, rangy, skills."

FYI, Jon is currently facing a suspension for up to 4 years after getting popped for steroids ... but swears on God and his kids that he didn't use.

As for A.B. -- he says he's serious about joining the UFC!

Floyd's TMT Bodyguards He's NOT Planning McGregor Rematch ... At Least, Not Yet!

10/19/2017 6:08 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Floyd Mayweather is telling his TMT bodyguards he's 100% retired -- and will NOT set up a rematch with Conor McGregor ... so says Floyd's hired muscle.

Of course, Floyd JUST posted footage from his boxing gym hitting the heavy bag -- and he looks pretty good. Plus, with all the money he made from the last fight, ya gotta wonder if he's thinking about a 51st fight.

So, when we saw Floyd's famous private security team, The Brixx Brothers -- Big G and Jizzy Mack -- we asked for the inside stuff with Mayweather's fight plan. They didn't exactly rule out a comeback.

BONUS -- With O.J. Simpson living just miles from Floyd's home in Vegas, we asked if Juice should look into private security too.

Bulls' Bobby Portis Suspended for Socking Teammate ... Breaking His Jaw

10/18/2017 10:04 AM PDT
Breaking News

Bobby Portis is paying the price for his brutal punch on Bulls teammate Nikola Mirotic ... as the team has slapped him with an 8-game ban.

Portis laid out Mirotic at practice on Tuesday ... sending him to the hospital with a fractured jaw and a concussion.

Nikola was discharged from the hospital later that day, but will likely need surgery -- forcing him to sit out at least 4 weeks.

The incident went down after the Bulls forwards got into it with trash-talk and shoving. Multiple reports claim Mirotic was the aggressor -- repeatedly charging at Bobby before being put down.

Which is probably why Portis only got 8 games. Could've been a lot worse.

Rob Kardashian Fight with Blac Chyna Triggered by Coke, Booze

10/18/2017 1:00 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Blac Chyna didn't get beaten up by Rob Kardashian as she claims ... SHE was the aggressor in a cocaine-fueled rage ... so say sources connected to the Kardashians.

TMZ broke the story ... Chyna is suing Rob, Kris, Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, Kylie and Kendall, claiming they conspired to torpedo her reality show and also caused her great pain over an alleged domestic violence incident in April. She says Rob knocked her to the ground and hit her in a rage.

Our Kardashian sources say the real story is this ... they claim the day before the incident, Chyna was using coke and drinking alcohol from morning till night. They say later that night Chyna and Rob went to a strip club and Chyna got a stripper to come home with them.

We're told Chyna partied with the stripper all night long, doing more coke and continuing her drinking binge while Rob watched Dream and King Cairo.

Our sources say Rob confronted Chyna the next morning, kicking the stripper out, calling Chyna irresponsible. He claims she went ballistic, hitting him, throwing things at him and berating him. Rob insists he only defended himself and never struck her.

The sources say Rob actually had an appointment that day with the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services, which had an open case against Chyna. He says he protected her by not mentioning the incident.

Shawn Holley, the Kardashian lawyer, tells TMZ, "We have witness statements and other evidence which will demonstrate conclusively that it is Chyna -- not Rob -- who is the violent and aggressive abuser."

Our Kardashian source claims Chyna tried shaking the family down for millions before filing suit.

We reached out to Chyna's lawyer, Lisa Bloom, who said, "There's no excuse for domestic violence." She did not comment on the allegations against her client.

United Airlines 2 Officers Fired In Violent Passenger Removal

10/17/2017 2:07 PM PDT
Breaking News

The officers who violently dragged a passenger off a United Airlines flight have been canned and a third has resigned ... 6 months after the violent incident was caught on video.

The Chicago Dept. of Aviation on Tuesday released a report outlining why it fired an officer, sergeant and suspended 2 others for their role in savagely dragging Dr. David Dao off Flight 3411 at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport back in April.

The incident threw United into a massive PR crisis that was compounded after CEO Oscar Munoz said he fully stood behind the crew's actions. Munoz subsequently apologized.

In the Inspector General's report, the IG said one officer was fired for improperly escalating the incident while a sergeant was 86'd after removing facts from an employee report.

Dao -- who later settled with United for an undisclosed amount -- suffered a concussion, broken nose and lost 2 teeth. Following the news, Dao's attorney, Thomas Demetrio, said "This is not a day of celebration for Dr. Dao, who is neither vindictive nor happy about Mr. Ferguson's findings. There is a lesson to be learned here for police officers at all levels."

Greg Hardy He's Goin' Down in MMA Fight ... Says Upcoming Opponent

10/17/2017 1:45 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Greg Hardy's first MMA opponent has a message for the former NFL star ...

I'M GETTIN' THE W, SON!!

FYI, Greg's first pro fight is on Nov. 4 at Rise of a Warrior 21 ... and we got the man who's gonna meet him in the cage -- Joe "The Legend" Hawkins -- to give us the low-down on their scrap.

Joe's got nothing but respect for Hardy ... but told TMZ Sports he ain't gonna take it easy on him.

"I’m gonna be incredible," Hawkins said. "I see the referee raising my hand."

Joe's also inviting Dana White to grab a ringside seat ... 'cause his goal is to make it to the UFC one day.

First, he's gotta beat Hardy ... who's also been training his ass off in camp.

Busta Rhymes 'What's Up N****?!!' Squared Off to Brawl in Miami

10/17/2017 9:54 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Busta Rhymes lets his temper get the best of him -- again -- and violently shoved a guy who got all up in his face.

We're told the altercation went down at Diddy's REVOLT Music Conference in Miami. In the video, shot last weekend, Busta and the man were damn near nose-to-nose having some sort of disagreement when the dude put an arm out to keep Busta at bay -- and then the rapper snapped.

Unclear what sparked this scrap, but Busta looked ready to throw down until his crew stepped in to calm things down -- unlike a couple years ago in an NYC gym.

We broke the story when Busta threw a protein shake on an employee. He was arrested for assault but cut a deal for a reduced charge and anger management.

Could be time for a refresher.

Tyron Woodley One Fight Could Get Ronda Back In UFC

10/13/2017 5:16 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

It ain't Holly Holm. It ain't Cyborg. There's only one fighter who could possibly entice Ronda Rousey to get back into the octagon ... at least, that's what Tyron Woodley thinks.

The UFC welterweight champ says he's all about Ronda making the transition to the WWE -- but if she's still got some fight left ... there's one legend who could be Ronda's perfect MMA dance partner.

Tyron got into it during his brand new show, "The Hollywood Beatdown" -- which drops every Friday on the TMZ Sports YouTube channel.

This week, Tyron hits everything from Harvey Weinstein to Eminem's anti-Trump rap session ... and even tells what REALLY went down between him and Dana White after UFC 214.
