Chris Brown Breaks Down Crying During MJ Tribute

After about four minutes of some of the best Michael Jackson inspired dancing you will see, Chris Brown broke down crying on stage during the BET Awards tonight.

  Chris Brown

The waterworks start around 4:30 mark if that's what you're into -- but seriously, his dance routine before that was amazing.

He started crying right as he got to the "Man in the Mirror" portion of the medley. Coincidence?

Chris Brown to Perform at Unofficial MJ Memorial

Chris Brown is scheduled to make a surprise performance at the mysterious unauthorized Michael Jackson memorial in Beverly Hills tomorrow ... TMZ has learned.

According to multiple sources, Brown -- who is not billed to appear -- will perform at least one song ... it's unclear if it's an original or if he'll cover an MJ classic.

As we first reported, the unauthorized "Forever Michael" memorial -- scheduled to go down at the Beverly Hilton -- was never approved by the Jackson estate ... yet for some strange reason, Katherine Jackson has given promoters her blessing.

Also set to perform -- one of Joe Jackson's business partners ... and you can guess who probably made that deal.

Chris Brown Checks His Image

Days before Chris Brown was denied entrance into the U.K. over that whole Rihanna thing, he was busy rebuilding his image by donating two giant checks ... to two charities ... in two days.

Chris Brown

Brown just humbly tweeted these pics of himself doing the good deeds earlier this week -- handing off $25,000 checks to the American Red Cross and the Central Virginia Food Bank.

'Cause what good is giving to charity if you can't publicize it?

Chris Brown Blocked from UK over Rihanna Incident

0608_chris_brown_BN_TMZ_01 Chris Brown's violent past just caught up with him in the UK ... where he was just denied entry into the country.

Officials in Great Britain revealed they wouldn't let the singer cross the border because of his criminal record ... specifically the attack on Rihanna.

The move seriously screws up Brown's tour -- which had at least 3 scheduled stops in the UK.

Soon after the decision, Brown tweeted, "SORRY to all the fans in Europe!!! my tour is cancelled. Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. I love you. SORRY!!"

The tweet was later removed -- and his publicist later claimed the rejection was based on "issues surrounding his work visa."

Britain's Home Office also released a statement, saying, "We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense."

Chris Brown's Census Confusion

Chris Brown had no problem headlining a Census rally today in Richmond, VA. Actually filling out his census is a whole other Oprah.

Brown, in an interview with WBBT in Richmond, admitted he hadn't done his own census yet, saying, "I was unaware of it in the beginning too, I was like, 'I'm not too sure what the census is.'"

Chris has nothing to worry about -- there are no questions like, "Have you been convicted of a crime?" on a census form.
