In a very un-Ari Gold-like move, Jeremy Piven saved the life of a paparazzo last night ... sort of.
TMZ caught the "Entourage" star leaving Il Sole, where he pulled a photog out of the street -- removing him from the danger of zooming cars -- and told him, "Most people are trying to kill you, I'm trying to save you!"
