Earth Wind & Fire We're PUMPED to Play at the DNC
Earth Wind & Fire has touched down in Charlotte, North Carolina ... and the band tells TMZ they plan to "rock the house" when they perform at the Democratic National Convention this week.
The band is scheduled to play at the DNC right before Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
As the guys arrived to the airport, legendary bassist Verdine White told us, "It's gonna be great ... like always."
The pre-speech concert is gonna be one helluva show ... featuring Mary J. Blige, James Taylor and the Foo Fighters.
No word on which songs EW&F will play ... but the smart money is on "Dancing in September."
