Larry King made a strong case for green-lighting HGH in baseball.

King was leaving Craig's in WeHo Saturday night when our photog asked about the hormone.

King clearly thinks the ban is ridiculous, comparing it to aspirin. Larry seems to think of HGH more as a healing Rx than a fountain of youth drug.

Larry also reveals how long he's been on the pill ... and it's a LONG time.
