ATL Falcons QB Matt Ryan is vouching for his friend Tom Brady -- saying he's a great guy off the field ... and doesn't believe the Deflategate scandal will tarnish his legacy.
Ryan was out in Bev Hills over the weekend when he told us he has a personal relationship with the Patriots quarterback -- and knows Tom will return with a vengeance after his 4 game suspension.
As for whether he thinks people will view Brady differently -- Ryan essentially says Brady's incredible 14 year career and 4 Super Bowls speak for themselves.
