James Perse -- master of high fashion cotton -- just doubled up on his Malibu home after selling it at its full $12.9 million asking price, and the place isn't even on the water.
Perse bought the 6 bedroom, 6 bath Point Dume home back in 2013 for $6.69 million and it's not hard to see he put a bunch of personal touches on the place. The 7,400 sq ft home now looks like walking into one of his stores ... it's pretty awesome.
There's a pool, fire pit and a lot of outdoor space on nearly 2 acres of land ... one of the largest plots in the area. It's a 5 minute walk to the water.
Perse listed the home with real estate agent Lily Harfouche in June and it closed this week. Aileen Getty, one of the J. Paul Getty heirs, now calls it home.
