Chelsea Clinton's picked up a few things from her parents -- such as how best to dodge questions about their nemesis, President Trump. 

We got Chelsea at LAX Tuesday and talked Halloween -- what kinda costume ideas she has for her kids and herself, and her take on dressing up as 45. She was plenty chatty, but you gotta see how Chels deftly handled the Trump topic ... someone's had a master class in politics.

We're certain Bill and Hillary would be proud of how she shifted the convo. Classic Presidential debate move.
