Federal Officer Shoots Undocumented Migrant In Minneapolis
Minneapolis Mayhem Federal Agent Shoots Migrant, DHS Says
One week after Renee Good was killed by an ICE agent, a federal officer has shot another person during a targeted operation in Minnesota, authorities said.
Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin tells TMZ ... federal law enforcement officers targeted an undocumented migrant from Venezuela, pulling the man over during a Wednesday night traffic stop in Minneapolis.
At 6:50 PM CT, federal law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis of an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the country by Joe Biden in 2022.

In an attempt to evade arrest, the subject fled the scene in his vehicle and crashed…
McLaughlin said the man fled in a vehicle but eventually crashed into a parked car and then ran off. One federal officer gave chase and caught up to the man, who allegedly began assaulting the fed, according to DHS.
Two other people allegedly stepped out of a building nearby and attacked the federal officer with a snow shovel and broom stick, according to DHS.
McLaughlin said the officer feared for his life and pulled a gun, firing a bullet into the leg of the man with whom he allegedly started fighting.
The officer who was allegedly attacked and the shooting victim were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known. McLaughlin said the two other subjects dashed back inside the building and barricaded themselves inside, but were soon taken into custody.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will independently investigate the incident.
The latest shooting comes on the heels of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent gunning down Renee Good as she sat inside her vehicle, also in Minneapolis. Good and her partner had exchanged words with ICE officers on an enforcement immigration operation in residential street traffic, leading to the fatal shooting.
President Trump and the Department of Justice have sided with the ICE officer, Jonathan Ross, describing his action as purely self-defense. Minnesota state officials have a different take, labeling what Ross allegedly did as murder.
