Rep. Andy Ogles thinks Jelly Roll's recent Trump trashing might have a surprising culprit ... Ozempic!!!
Our intrepid producer Charlie caught the Tennessee congressman on Capitol Hill Tuesday and asked about Jelly taking shots at President Trump -- and Ogles immediately tied the singer's political turn to his massive weight loss.
Ogles noted Jelly was once seen embracing Trump ... then joked he went on "Ozempic or whatever" and suddenly started hating POTUS, quipping that maybe that's a side effect.
Charlie then asked if Jelly's comments had cost him a listener in Congress ... but Ogles admitted he wasn't really listening in the first place.
Still, he said there are no hard feelings ... telling us he'd happily shake Jelly's hand and get his autograph.
As we reported ... Jelly went scorched-earth on Trump while filling in for Jimmy Kimmel, calling him a "fat pig" and joking Trump might be happier if he lost enough weight to see his penis again.
Jelly's dropped roughly 300 pounds himself ... so maybe Ogles has discovered a brand-new side effect -- Trump intolerance.
