Tupac Shakur's protégé Young Noble died by suicide with a gunshot to the head on the morning of July 4 ... TMZ Hip Hop has confirmed. The Outlawz rapper's wife told police at the scene he had been battling significant depression.

According to police records, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Gwinnett County officers responded to a 911 call at 9 AM on Independence Day after someone claimed to have seen a man lying dead in the pool of a country club in Snellville, a distant suburb of Atlanta.

Police say they saw a man in tan cargo shorts and a black T-shirt sunken at the bottom of the pool with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the right side of his head.

Richard Simmons is getting one final standing ovation -- this time from collectors and fans around the world as his personal items have hit the auction ... TMZ has learned.

Bonhams Auction House in Los Angeles says it's auctioning off over 200 of the famous fitness instructor's personal items -- bedazzled tank tops and branded VHS tapes to memorabilia from his workout empire. The collection celebrates Simmons' four-decade legacy.

Among the star items hitting the block are his signature "Sweatin' to the Oldies" ensemble, worn during a 2012 Slimmons class, a bedazzled "Hummingbird" tank top worn at the 2013 MTV VMAs, a custom "Pom Pom Ball" tank from a 2011 appearance and over 100 glittering tank tops and shorts, each estimated between $200-300.

Michael Madsen was making enormous strides in his recovery from alcoholism ... right up until just before his tragic death.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Madsen was sober in recent months, making a consistent and valiant effort to turn his life around. But, those close to him remain uncertain about his state of mind in the days leading up to his passing. Everyone around him was hoping and believed he was still working his program.

The beloved actor spent years in and out of rehabilitation programs as he battled alcohol addiction ... while also struggling with depression and grappling with personal hardships, like a troubled marriage -- and his son's untimely death. We are told he was constantly in and out of phases of trying to get his alcoholism under control.

Adult film star Kylie Page struggled with substance abuse in the years leading up to her shocking death -- but had celebrated a sobriety milestone days before she took her last breath.

Kylie's struggle with addiction was no secret, as family sources tell TMZ she had dabbled in drug use since she was a teen. However, she went to rehab a few years back and subsequently lived in a sober living house ... and we're told the combination of both did wonders for her mindset and life trajectory.

Our sources say she even completed 60 days of sobriety on the Friday before her passing, which made her extremely proud ... along with all the work she was doing with her AA meetings -- including leading them by herself.

Bobby Jenks, a 2x All-Star and World Series champion with the Chicago White Sox, died Friday after a battle with stomach cancer.

He was only 44.

Jenks, one of the most dominant closers in baseball during his 7 season Major League Baseball career, revealed during an interview in February 2025 that he was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma -- a form of stomach cancer.

Julian McMahon's tragic passing shocked Hollywood ... and stars like Nicolas Cage, Rose McGowan, Kelly Carlson and more are paying tribute to him.

Shortly after Julian's passing, Cage released a statement to Deadline to discuss his costar -- the two worked together on the new movie "The Surfer" and appeared together at SXSW in Texas in March -- calling him "the most talented of actors."

Actor Julian McMahon has died ... this according to a report from Deadline.

Caitlyn Jenner's longtime friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, is dead following a tragic ATV accident near Caitlyn's home ... TMZ has learned.

Sophia was pronounced dead Wednesday morning in Malibu, according to law enforcement and family sources. We're told Sophia was riding the ATV on the road where Caitlyn lives when she struck the bumper of a moving car -- that impact forced the ATV over the shoulder ... sending it, and Sophia, plummeting 350 feet down into a ravine.

Our sources say the first responders who reached Sophia, pronounced her dead on the scene. Two people in the car Sophia struck were not injured. It's unclear if Caitlyn was home at the time, or if she witnessed the fatal collision. We do know no one else was harmed on the ATV.

Michael Madsen's health was cleared by doctors just days before his sudden death -- this according to his longtime friend and assistant, Dougie Smith.

Dougie tells TMZ the 'Kill Bill' star was doing a routine hospital visit at UCLA last Friday to get his rotator cuff looked at, citing complications from a fall off a horse about 2 years ago. Michael was apparently considering getting surgery ... but due to his upcoming schedule, he decided to put it in a brace for the time being.

Michael had also suffered a minor brain bleed from the fall, so he received a PET scan to ensure everything was looking A-okay ... and according to Dougie, Michael got the all-clear from docs.

Dave Parker -- a 19-year MLB veteran who was voted into Cooperstown just months ago -- has died ... according to the league office.

MLB announced the news Saturday afternoon ... saying Parker passed away after a long bout with Parkinson's disease.

Parker -- who played for the Pirates in 11 of his 19 total seasons in the league -- was honored with a scoreboard tribute at PNC Park, where the Pirates are taking on the New York Mets.

Brian Wilson had multiple respiratory issues when he passed away ... and, now we know the reason why he simply stopped breathing.

TMZ has obtained the death certificate for Wilson ... which lists "respiratory arrest" as his main cause of death. According to the American CPR Care Association, respiratory arrest occurs when the heart is still beating, but the lungs stop functioning, making it impossible for the person to get oxygen.

Sepsis and cystitis -- infection issues -- are also listed on the document ... and, associated factors include neurodegenerative disorder, obstructive sleep apnea, chronic respiratory failure and chronic kidney disease.
