Kanye Westjust buckled under pressure from France, shelving his upcoming concert in the European country over his past antisemitic remarks.
Here's the deal ... the rapper was supposed to perform in the southern port city of Marseille in June, but the French interior minister was "highly determined" to block Kanye's concert because of his previous support of Nazis and Adolf Hitler, according to AFP.
In January, Kanye apologized for making those hurtful remarks, taking out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal to address the issue.

After already being blocked from entering the UK, Ye is now staring down a possible concert ban from French officials over his antisemitic remarks. Melvin noted he wasn't initially pro-Kanye, adding ... "I would ask people to reflect on their instant comments of disgust at the likelihood of him performing (as was mine) and offer some forgiveness and hope to him as I have decided to do."
