It's been a quarter century since Aaliyah's tragic death ... and even though she's gone way too soon, the late legend's legacy will live on forever.

As you know, the singer died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, after filming the music video for her single "Rock the Boat" in the Bahamas. Investigations showed the plane had been overloaded by 700 pounds.

But Aaliyah's life shouldn't and couldn't be defined by her death ... instead, we're remembering the iconic artist for her incredible artistry and influential style.

TMZ obtained dashcam footage from Tiffany's 2022 DUI arrest in Georgia ... and the comedian didn't love hearing that she'd be posing for her mug shot when they got to Fayette County Jail.

Tiffany tells officers she's worried she'd look like a "crackhead" in her booking photo ... saying she's going to be upset if she looks "busted and dusted" because she refused to blow into a breathalyzer.

TMZ obtained a copy of the complaints received by the FCC after the Oscars aired back in March ... and one person rips the show apart for Javier's comments he made while presenting Best International Feature with Priyanka Chopra.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Joyce Patton filed a petition asking to establish a conservatorship for her son ... questioning whether he was ever legally married to his children's mother, Shawna Stewart.

Joyce also claims ... Sam has not lived with Shawna in more than 15 years -- and says for the past four years, he has been living with her.

Ashley Hickerson told the Daily Mail ... “If I can say one thing about Brian, it’s that he is the most charismatic person and he draws you in.” Ashley also said she understood why Hayden was with Brian, who's fun and can make you laugh no matter what.

Hayden and Brian began dating in 2018 and stayed together on and off until the actresss' suspected overdose death on August 16 in Greenville, South Carolina. Brian's brother, Zach, found Hayden's body and they called 911. Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of toxicology tests.

As you know, Brian had a history of domestic violence against Hayden, who accused him of punching her in 2020, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

A neighbor of Hayden Panettiere says she witnessed the late actress being taken from her West Hollywood apartment on a gurney by firefighters on two occasions during her troubled relationship with Brian Hickerson.

Mia Terrazas says she saw the incidents in July 2023 and January 2024, claiming Hayden appeared to have bruises and red marks while Brian was nearby both times, during an interview with Page Six.

The worried neighbor said she asked Hayden if she was OK during the first incident and the actress allegedly replied, "Yes." Mia told the outlet “It appeared that she had been beaten up. It wasn’t apparent to me that it could have been anything else" -- adding Hayden allegedly frequently appeared “battered.”
