It's been a quarter century since Aaliyah's tragic death ... and even though she's gone way too soon, the late legend's legacy will live on forever.

As you know, the singer died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, after filming the music video for her single "Rock the Boat" in the Bahamas. Investigations showed the plane had been overloaded by 700 pounds.

But Aaliyah's life shouldn't and couldn't be defined by her death ... instead, we're remembering the iconic artist for her incredible artistry and influential style.

Tiffany Haddish was way more concerned with how her mug shot would come out than her DUI bust ... at least that's how it seemed on the dashcam footage.

TMZ obtained dashcam footage from Tiffany's 2022 DUI arrest in Georgia ... and the comedian didn't love hearing that she'd be posing for her mug shot when they got to Fayette County Jail.

Tiffany tells officers she's worried she'd look like a "crackhead" in her booking photo ... saying she's going to be upset if she looks "busted and dusted" because she refused to blow into a breathalyzer.

Tributes are pouring in for Dolly Parton following the legend's death ... with stars from across entertainment sharing their heartbreak.

Kacey Musgraves was among the first to react, posting several emotional messages Tuesday, including, "Dolly. 💔 This really really hurts."

She later wrote, "The world feels a lot less sparkly all of a sudden" ... and referenced Dolly's late husband, Carl Dean, saying, "So glad she's with her Carl Dean. No one talk to me today."

The Oscars pissed a bunch of people off this year -- with one person slamming the show for allowing Javier Bardem to hop on stage and say "Free Palestine" ... according to complaints sent to the FCC.

TMZ obtained a copy of the complaints received by the FCC after the Oscars aired back in March ... and one person rips the show apart for Javier's comments he made while presenting Best International Feature with Priyanka Chopra.

ICYMI, he specifically said ... "No to war" and "Free Palestine" when he was on stage to present an award with Chopra. He was also wearing a "No a la guerra" -- AKA "no to war" -- pin alongside another pin expressing support for Palestine.

Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, is finally showing his face amid an onslaught of verbal attacks from her mother ... stepping out of his lair to grab a package ... and looking pissed.

Brian emerged from his South Carolina house to grab a plastic bag sitting on his porch ... eyeing the photographers standing outside for a moment before shutting his door.

As you know ... Brian has been the focal point of mass scrutiny since Hayden was pronounced dead, with her mom -- Lesley Vogel -- especially ripping him.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Joyce Patton filed a petition asking to establish a conservatorship for her son ... questioning whether he was ever legally married to his children's mother, Shawna Stewart.

Joyce also claims ... Sam has not lived with Shawna in more than 15 years -- and says for the past four years, he has been living with her.

Brian Hickerson's magnetic charm kept Hayden Panettiere coming back to him despite their rocky relationship over the years, according to Brian's half-sister.

Ashley Hickerson told the Daily Mail ... “If I can say one thing about Brian, it’s that he is the most charismatic person and he draws you in.” Ashley also said she understood why Hayden was with Brian, who's fun and can make you laugh no matter what.

Hayden and Brian began dating in 2018 and stayed together on and off until the actresss' suspected overdose death on August 16 in Greenville, South Carolina. Brian's brother, Zach, found Hayden's body and they called 911. Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of toxicology tests.

As you know, Brian had a history of domestic violence against Hayden, who accused him of punching her in 2020, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

A resurfaced photo of Hayden Panettiere and James Blunt together on a yacht is getting fresh attention ... following the actress's death and renewed interest in a disturbing story she shared about an alleged yacht encounter when she was 18.

The photo -- taken in France in 2009 -- shows Hayden and James together on a boat ... gathered around a table with at least 3 other people.

At the time, Hayden was a few months away from her 20th birthday ... but some folks are convinced it's the smoking gun in her story about being forced into bed with a naked British singer-songwriter. Hayden didn't name the celeb in her memoir, but the internet's convinced it's James, even though there is no evidence establishing that connection.

James Blunt is throwing cold water on claims that he's the naked British singer Hayden Panettiere said she was forced into a bed with on a yacht when she was just 18.

James shared a Substack article on social media Monday that argues he is NOT the unnamed singer-songwriter from Hayden's memoir.

In her 2026 book, Hayden wrote she was 18 when a friend brought her onto a yacht to meet a British singer-songwriter in his 30s ... only for her to walk into a cabin and find the man naked in bed.

The "Euphoria" star posted the jaw-dropping video Monday morning ... and immediately called out Hollywood's most famous stunt junkie ... telling Tom Cruise to "watch out."

Sydney explained, "Decided to strap myself to a plane and go upside down 🙃."

Hayden Panettiere’s mom says Brian Hickerson left her daughter depleted in every way -- financially, emotionally and physically -- as he allegedly became deeply embedded in the actress’ life.

Lesley Vogel -- Hayden's estranged mother -- says she came to L.A. about a year ago to help Hayden through a serious health struggle ... claiming Hayden was suffering from an unexplained pins-and-needles feeling in her lower body that made it difficult for her to walk or function normally, according to the The New York Times.

Hayden wondered whether the pain could have been connected to injuries she suffered while working as a child actor, and according to her mom, they sought help from doctors and tried massage and acupuncture in search of relief.

Mia Terrazas says she saw the incidents in July 2023 and January 2024, claiming Hayden appeared to have bruises and red marks while Brian was nearby both times, during an interview with Page Six.

The worried neighbor said she asked Hayden if she was OK during the first incident and the actress allegedly replied, "Yes." Mia told the outlet “It appeared that she had been beaten up. It wasn’t apparent to me that it could have been anything else" -- adding Hayden allegedly frequently appeared “battered.”
