'Real Housewife' Loses House, Still a Wife

8/11/2009 10:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lisa Wu-Hartwell needs a "Big Poppa" of her own ... the real housewife of Atlanta just lost her real big house in Atlanta.

'Real Housewife' Loses House, Still a Wife
TMZ has learned Hartwell and her husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, were booted from their multi-million dollar Georgia mansion last week -- after the couple defaulted on their loan and the bank sold it shortly after.

Hartwell's rep tells us the couple was in talks with the lender to restructure the loan because the home had lost value -- but that failed. They originally bought the place for $2.9 mil back in 2007 -- but the bank only got $1.9 mil when they resold it this month.

The rep says "Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!"

Foreclosure, short sale, tomato, tomahto. Anyone who watched the show could see that the Atlanta housewives were stricktly low class wanna-be's. The truth always comes out in the end...they are all one step away from "Good Times"

Oh hell, no longer neighbors with the one and only, big mouth, dumb ass, NeNe. Well, they've probably already had their falling out because BIG NENE has a falling out with everyone she comes in contact with. Gee, how sad, no more "bowling parties" in their basement where they make complete fools of themselfs. Last bowling party Lisa threw NeNe said someone was "CHEE'IN" I think she meant "cheating". Anyway, guess Lisa and Big NeNe won't be walking the hood any longer..Can't wait for the next train wreck.

People these days are soo full of hate and jealousy. They are miserable with their own lives, and they want to see others doing bad and be miserable like they are. Yes these women have money, but they are not considered rich. They have money woes just like everybody else. And yes some of them want to appear that they have more money than what they do, but so what. We are not paying their bills, so why all of the hatin on how they live their lives. The show is a reality show to entertain us, which I'm sure has some scripted parts to boost the ratings. Just see it for what it is, and don't get soo caught up on hatin. It's just a show. Some of you are going to run your blood pressure up with all of this hatin nonsense about a simple show, when all you have to do is change the channel. It's that simple!

Sorry to hear this... Although I've never met them, I live just down the street from their recently "auctioned" home in the same subdivision. As mentioned, it's in Duluth, GA., not ATL. Not sure what happened, but I hope they land on their feet.

Everyone is having a hard time, and it is time to be frugal or economic chic, spend your money wisely, be grateful for what you have, and count your blessing...

A lot of former ball players go broke after their playing days are over. What is that all about? Maybe they should be educating them selves on how to manage all that money they make and prepare them selves for retirement with a more comfortable life after sports...

The problem with a lot of former ball players, is a lot of them go broke after their playing days are over. Besides who can really afford to keep a mansion, when they are paying the morgage and the up keep. I rather have a nice house that i could afford and enjoy. Sounds like a lesson well learned. Keep you're head up guy's.

Lisa's husband owned the house on ten acres before he married Lisa. Because she referred to it as his bachelor pad.
